Taking to her Instagram story, the 28-year-old stunner shared a quote which spoke about choosing herself and 'not looking back.'

A representative released a statement to the publication, which read: 'After careful thought and consideration, Shanina Shaik and Greg "DJ Ruckus" Andrews have decided to separate.'
They added: 'They move forward with much mutual respect and love for each other, and ask to please respect their privacy during this time.'

Shanina and DJ Ruckus first met at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2015 and got engaged just after Christmas that same year.
DJ Ruckus got down on one knee on Lenny Kravitz's private island, with the rings delivered from L.A. to the Bahamas by family friend Denzel Washington.
Their wedding in April last year was a star-studded affair, with Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross, models Nadine Leopold, Hannah Ferguson, cousins Olivia Pierson and Natalie Halcro from WAGS among the guests.
