Wendy Williams says she's now 'in on every meeting' after ex Kevin Hunter kept her in the dark about business
Her friends recently speculated she's 'spiraling out of control'.
But Wendy Williams claimed she's more in control than ever before since splitting from husband Kevin Hunter, during the FWD conference in Charlotte, NC on Wednesday.
'I want to be in on every meeting until the deal is done, this is how I roll,' the 54-year-old TV host told the crowd at the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Summit.

Talking about how her former manager and spouse controlled her career in the early days, Wendy said, 'Kev and the team would show up...and wouldn't tell me until he knew the deal was done.'
It's been a tumultuous time for the chat show host, who filed for divorce from husband of 22 years in April.

And now pals of the star are said to be concerned the star is struggling with her sobriety.
'Wendy is not in a good place,' a source told UsWeekly Wednesday. 'Friends close to her are worried she’s spiraling out of control.'

Meanwhile, Williams was spotted out and about in New York on Monday with her rumored new beau, 27-year-old Marc Tomblin.
Dailymail.com has revealed that Tomblin is a convicted felon who served two years in prison in 2013 for robbery with a dangerous weapon and breaking and entering in North Carolina, according to public records.
A source close to the talk show queen told Dailymail.com: 'People around Wendy are concerned for her well-being, especially since she is in such a vulnerable state with the divorce, addiction and alcoholism and the status of the show not being renewed yet.'
'With this new guy, how can Wendy really trust him if she's going through so much on her own?' the insider added. 'The fact she's brought him to New York is also a concern. She's let him into her life and her home. People are worried he's trying to manipulate her.'

Toblin was the mystery man who had sat next to her as she broke down into tears during an impromptu interview in a car on Monday night in Los Angeles.
She teared up when questioned about her estranged husband Kevin Hunter: 'Stuff happens in life; stuff happens and it's OK. I've still got a very full life that I really adore ... please don't make me cry.'
'I didn't plan on this, but it is what it is,' she added.
Wendy's new romance comes after she filed for divorce from her cheating husband Kevin after news broke that his long-time mistress had had his baby daughter.
