Dascha Polanco was in full character while on the set of Lin Manuel Miranda's new project In The Heights on Friday.
And the Orange Is The New Black talent, 36, looked like she was in her element donning an all-burgundy ensemble as she stepped out to film a scene on location in the Washington Heights neighborhood of NYC.
There, she was joined by Brooklyn 99 favorite Stephanie Beatriz.

She accessorized with a chunky pair of white Reebok sneakers and a python-skin fanny pack, arriving on scene clutching a cell phone with turquoise claws.

After Dascha and Stephanie's scene, creator/star Lin Manuel stepped into the spotlight as a shaved ice purveyor, known in Puerto Rican culture at the Piragua man.
The Hamilton pushed around a cart with a technicolor assortment of syrups. At one point he was seen flipping around a bottle stylishly while parched customers waved cash at him.

Into The Heights is based off of the 2005 Lin Manuel Miranda musical of the same name.
Directed by Jon M. Chu of Crazy Rich Asians fame, the film also stars Marc Anthony, Jimmy Smits, Leslie Grace, Corey Hawkins, Melissa Barrera, Olga Merediz, Gregory Diaz, and Noah Catala.
