And Jodie Comer looked a world away from the ruthless assassin as she posed with her lookalike brother Charlie in a sweet snap posted to Instagram on Saturday.

The Doctor Foster star, 26, cut a casual figure in an oversized graphic T-shirt as she posed next to her younger brother, leading to fans marvelling at their likeness.

And fans were quick to point out the family resemblance between the two, with one Instagram user commenting the pair are 'literally twins'. 

One user said: 'You look so alike!!'.

Jodie added that the roaring success of Killing Eve's first season meant there was a lot more pressure to keep the momentum going in the next installment. 

And appearing on The Graham Norton Show in April, the My Mad Fat Diary star revealed she had been stunned by fans' extreme reactions after meeting her in the flesh. 

'A lot of people just look at me in a "Is it her" sort of way, but recently I had a really strange one – a woman asked for a photograph with me and then she whispered in my ear, ''Will you strangle me?'' I said, ''No!'''
