Jeff Lewis has revealed he and ex Gage Edward have each hired lawyers in anticipation of a custody battle over daughter Monroe.

The 49-year-old Flipping Out star made the comments during his SiriusXM radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, on Thursday.

But even though the couple and their attorneys sat down for three hours to discuss a 50/50 shared custody arrangement of the two year old, the matter, 'was never resolved' said Lewis.

Monroe Christine Lewis was conceived via IVF, using one of Jeff's embryos, with the reality TV star announcing 'the next baby will be Gage’s embryo' back in 2017.

However, the pair split before those plans could be enacted, with Lewis outlining the acrimony between the former couple on his Sirius XM show on Thursday.

'I thought this meeting was going to be . . . about custody arrangements,' Lewis said of their meeting.

'We’re going to talk about financial support. We’re going to handle it all and move forward.'

However the conversation never moved beyond visitation for that week - and the real estate speculator said the lawyer fees alone ran into thousands of dollars.

'Am I going to spend six thousand a week to talk about visitation? It was insane,' said Lewis.

The radio host also claimed his 35-year-old ex partner became 'angry' during the discussion.

'He couldn’t keep it together,' said Jeff.

'He was so angry and irrational that they had to move him to another conference room.'

The interior designer told his radio listeners that his partner, with whom he is raising Monroe, had moved out of their home in February.

'I've been putting up with his bulls*** for months now,' Lewis said. 'There is so much anger he has lost sight of the good things.'

Jeff admitted on his SiriusXM radio show that he had been getting along 'pretty well' with his ex until recently.
