England captain Harry Kane and childhood sweetheart Katie Goodland have shared pictures after getting married at an exotic resort. 

Kane, who is enjoying some time off following England's involvement in the UEFA Nations League earlier this month, posted photos of the newly weds on his Twitter page. The location of the ceremony was kept secret by the couple.  

One photo shows Kane, wearing a white jacket and a black bow-tie, lifting his wife, who stood out wearing a fitted sweetheart neckline dress, while stood on a jetty. 

Kane wrote on Twitter: 'Finally got to marry my Best Friend! I love you @KateGoodlandx'.

The couple, who went to school together, kept the news very quiet before sharing photographs from their wedding day

In another photo, Kane is seen kissing his wife on the forehead as she places her hand on his suit jacket, showing off her new ring. 

The location of the wedding remains unclear but the pictures show a stunningly picturesque backdrop. 

Kane proposed to Goodland in July 2017 when the couple were away on holiday together in Barbados.  

Pictured on one knee on a beach during the retreat, Kane left Goodland speechless and has now made her his wife two years later.

The England captain previously joked to his partner that he would not cry on his wedding day and that he would only shed tears if England won a trophy.

He said: 'I always wind my missus up that I'd cry if we won a trophy with England. And she said if you don't cry when I walk down the aisle then she won't go through with it! 

'I'm not a crier, I'm not someone who cries a lot. 

'My missus has probably never seen me cry. So we'll have to see what comes first.'

The loved-up couple have two children together - Ivy Jane Kane and their youngest Vivienne Jane Kane, who was born in August last year. 

Kane's England team-mates quickly sent their congratulations with midfielder Fabian Delph writing: 'Congrats to you all skip.'

Golf star Rory McIlroy and former England captain John Terry passed on their congratulations while Jamie Redknapp was quick to compliment the footballer's choice of suit.

'Looking sharp mate. Congratulations,' Redknapp commented. 

Former Tottenham striker Robbie Keane added: 'Congrats to you both! Wishing you a great future together.' 

The new Mrs Kane regularly attends matches that her new husband plays in and is a constant source of support off the pitch

Goodland went away to Las Vegas for her Hen party last month and all of her friends put on Kane masks for the bride-to-be

Goodland was all smiles inside a nightclub as she wore a sparkly and eye-catching headband which read 'Mrs Kane to be' 

Goodland was pictured away with a host of her close friends last month as she travelled to Las Vegas for her Hen Party. 

Boarding the plane she was dressed in a full England kit with 'Kane 9' on the back, the number her new husband wears for the national team. 

While Kane was back home concluding the season with Tottenham, he was out there in spirit as the entire Hen Party group put on Kane masks in one amusing photo that emerged. 

Goodland has been loved up with the striker since their school days and she was all smiles on one night out in Las Vegas as she wore a sparkly 'Mrs Kane to be' headband.
