Serena Williams and Ciara arranged a playdate for their little daughters while both families were in Cannes.

In a video Ciara posted to Instagram on Friday, she held her little girl Sienna, two, and Serena cradled her one-year-old Olympia as they all floated in a swimming pool.

Ciara and Serena could be seen teaching their children to say: 'Bonjour!' and: 'A bientot!' while smiling and waving at the woman behind the camera.

Ciara shares Sienna with her husband Russell Wilson and a five-year-old son called Future with her ex-fiance, a rapper also called Future.

Russell and Ciara married at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire three summers ago and will celebrate their anniversary on July 6.
