'Hell is coming': Europe braces for Saharan Bubble heatwave stretching from Scotland to

European forecasters warned 'hell is coming' with a record-breaking heatwave due to hit the continent tomorrow posing a threat to life. With days of temperatures climbing to 104F (40C) and above in some cities, forecasters have predicted France may experience the hottest June on record. The news has struck fear into many who recall the continent's 2003 heatwave which saw 15,000 people die as temperatures reached a peak of 111F (44.1C) in mid-august. France's national forecaster Météo-France has warned that the intense heat may not lull until next week - even during the nights. Britain also faces a sweltering week-long heatwave that could see temperatures soar past 86F (30C) following the past two days of widespread downpours and flooding. The heatwave is being caused by a 2,000-mile wide plume of hot air dubbed the 'Saharan bubble' which is being blown from the region by an unusually strong jet stream. Sunshine and hot conditions for the next few days in Britain, starting with a muggy high of 80F today before the mercury starts to creep up to 86F by Thursday. Miami vacation condo removed from Booking.com and Airbnb after owner goes on shocking

Monifah Brown (pictured top), a 24-year-old event planner from London, planned to rent out the Miami property (pictured bottom) from Giulia Ozyesilpinar (inset). But during an exchange about Ms Brown's credit card, the American owner repeatedly called the Briton the N-word, used the word 'monkey' and also asked if she was a 'prostitute'. When Ms Brown said she would inform Booking.com and Airbnb about the abusive messages, Ozyesilpinar told her to 'shut your monkey mouth'. Ozyesilpinar then sent audio recordings to Brown, appearing to growl at Brown and call her a 'n****r' while making monkey noises at her. Booking.com eventually removed the property from its website. But an unrepentant Ozyesilpinar insisted that 'being racist is not illegal'.

Boris presses the panic button: Tory frontrunner brings in Iain Duncan Smith as campaign

Boris Johnson last night drafted in Iain Duncan Smith to put his stuttering leadership campaign back on track (Mr Johnson is pictured: holding a dog on a visit to the Surrey Hills yesterday, left; visiting a butcher's shop in Oxshott, top right; sharing a drink with former leadership rival Dominic Raab, bottom right; and posing for a selfie with a local resident in Oxshott; inset). Sources said Mr Duncan Smith has been given a wide-ranging role in which he will also advise Mr Johnson on the make-up of his No 10 team and on planning for his first 100 days, during which he has pledged to deliver Brexit. The appointment came amid growing divisions within the Johnson camp about a strategy that has allowed Jeremy Hunt to seize the initiative in recent days.

The Tory leadership front runner was grilled by radio stations LBC and TalkRadio as Jeremy Corbyn's Labour and some of his own Remainer colleagues seek to block a No Deal Brexit.

Boris and Carrie photo was a 'motorway pile-up' PR stunt says Johnson ally

Even senior sources in Boris's camp believe the photograph (main picture) was taken long before the row between Boris and Carrie in her south London flat last week, ANDREW PIERCE reveals. The clues are certainly there. Not only could any casual observer clearly see that Boris's trademark blond mane appeared longer and more unruly than the coiffured new look he has been displaying since the first leadership hustings. But even more damningly, the photograph bears an uncanny similarity to one released to the Press (inset) in similar circumstances (and also with no named photographer) last September. This too featured Carrie sitting outdoors at a wooden table, surrounded by greenery, although her companion that time was an unnamed female friend. Whatever the truth of the matter, such is the furore unleashed by the picture, the Boris campaign has been left in a state of near-panic.

Taxpayers paying £750,000 for security at Harry and Meghan's new home - on top of £3m

Retired Chief Superintendent Dai Davies, a former head of royalty protection, said the Sussexes' (right with baby Archie) decision to quit Kensington Palace has resulted in a sizeable bill for new provisions. More than 20 officers from the Met Police and the Thames Valley force will be required to guard Frogmore Cottage (inset and left).

Sorry, HOW much? That was my first reaction to news that British taxpayers paid £2.4 million ($3.06 million) to refurbish Prince Harry and his wife Meghan's new home Frogmore Cottage.

SARAH VINE: The real cost of Meghan and Harry's £2.4million refurbishment? Our goodwill

NEW How is it possible that Harry and Meghan (inset right with her bodyguard in Fiji in October) have spent £2.4 million of taxpayers' money (with another £600,000 potentially in the pipeline) renovating the five-bedroom Frogmore Cottage (inset left)? Of course, every grandparent (The Queen, left with President Donald Trump in Buckingham Palace this month) wants to do their best to give the younger generation a leg-up; but this is something else. It's not just the vast sums involved which, at a time when hospitals and other front-line services are having to make serious cutbacks, seems so out of touch with the challenges facing ordinary Britons. Say what you like about William and Kate (right at the Royal Ascot) - and the renovation of their own apartment 1A cost taxpayers £4.5 million - both are consummate corporate royals, acutely aware of the obligations that their privilege confers.

The Queen, 93, put on a colourful display as she welcomed guests from various faiths to a reception at Buckingham Palace tonight.

Trump lashes out after Iran's president called him 'mentally retarded' threatening

Trump launched a fusillade of tweets calling Iran's leadership 'ignorant and insulting' after its president Hassan Rouhani called the White House 'mentally retarded,' as tensions in the Gulf stayed high. The outburst is the latest after he pulled back from bombing Iran in retaliation for it shooting down a Navy spy drone in what the U.S. says was international airspace. Trump publicly told the Iranian leadership that he was open to talks, but clearly took offense at Rouhani, who said that America is lying about wanting to negotiate and only proves that Washington is desperate and running out of options.

Her mother Rachael, who had split with Jessica's dad five years earlier, said: 'They asked me to sit down. They told me Jessica had passed away in the middle of the night. My first reaction was that she must have died in a car accident because it was so sudden. I never expected to hear the words that Jessica had hanged herself. After that, all I remember is screaming.' A month after Jessica died, in another part of Cheshire, 13-year-old Lily Mae Sharp (top right) also hanged herself in her bedroom after playing 'suicide' games and pretending to hang herself with a noose made of toilet paper in the school loos.

CHRISTOPHER HART blasts leading TV script writer

NEW CHRISTOPHER HART: In a terribly British, self-deprecating kind of way, yes, it could be argued that Dad's Army also stands as a sort of wry testament to the war effort, when we stood virtually alone as a free country against Hitler's monstrous Reich. But it's hardly the stuff of strident jingoism, as Daisy Goodwin (right), the writer and creator of the ITV drama Victoria, implies. Yet she wants the incomparable comedy banned because its vague whiff of bumbling old-school British patriotism and its storyline about opposing invasion from an evil European power, might mysteriously have triggered a 'Leave' mentality in the poor, credulous, uneducated voters. In a particularly dotty conspiracy-theory moment, she even suggests the Brexit Party logo of an arrow bears a sinister resemblance to the arrows that feature in Dad's Army's memorable title sequence.

Adorable piglet 'thinks it's a lamb' after being adopted by group of baby sheep

Gilt Alistair was the runt of her litter and was separated from her siblings to be hand reared amid fears she would not survive. The little pig was kept in a pen at Houghall Farm on the outskirts of Durham, but kept breaking out to join the orphaned lambs next (left, with a lamb). The saddleback piglet now lives with the sheep full time and Keith Cook, a manager of the farm at East Durham College, which runs a number of Agricultural courses, says she believes she is one of them. The gilt has been compared to 'Babe: The Sheep Pig' from Dick King-Smith novel (inset, still from film adaptation).

She's even been crowned the fastest backwards runner in the UK. And while most fellow joggers give her words of encouragement, she does admit to being shouted at by some people who tell her to turn around as she's 'going the wrong way'. Another bonus for Shantelle, from Irlam, Greater Manchester, is that since she began her unusual routine, she's had far fewer catcalls.

Price of America's most expensive home is slashed by another $50M

The sprawling Bel-Air estate owned by late media tycoon Jerry Perenchio, that was once the home of 'The Beverly Hillbillies,' has its listing price slashed again. In August 2017, the home hit the market for $350million, making it the most expensive home in the United States. A little more than a year later, the home's price tag was slashed by $100million. In October 2018, the residence hit the market again, but with an asking price of $245million. On Monday, that price was cut by $50million, making the new price $195million. Despite the $155million price cut over the last two years, the home is still the most expensive on the market. In the 1960s, it was known as the home of the Clampett family on The Beverly Hillbillies (center). The property was shown in the opening credits and throughout the popular sitcom that ran from 1962 to 1971.

Tunnel vision: Cornwall's landscape takes flight in surreal footage created by stitching drone images into 360-degree panoramas

The clip, created by videographer Paul Parker, shows the southwestern tip of England in all its glory - from harbour villages and fields to sparkling blue waters. He made it by stitching images from a drone into 360-degree panoramas. And among the places featured are St Ives, Halsetown and St Michael's Mount in Penzance. Mr Parker (known on Vimeo as Parker Paul) told MailOnline: 'I'm an After Effects artist - basically, someone who makes motion graphics and video effects using Adobe After Effects. I was recently learning how to create 360-degree panoramas using a drone, which involves taking hundreds of pictures and then stitching them together. When it came to the stitching part, I made a serious error in the process and the result was a beautifully surreal landscape with what looked like an interdimensional portal running through it.'
