Sarah Ferguson's appearance came just hours after her appearance on This Morning in which she spoke about helping to secure Natasha's law.

Named after Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, who died from an allergic reaction caused by an inadequately labelled sandwich, the law aims to tighten the rules surrounding food labelling.

The Duchess, who became involved in the law debate after meeting Natasha's grieving parents during a flight, expressed the urgency of a change in labelling during a discussion on the morning show.

She said: 'Forty-four per cent of adults are now suffering from allergies that's why Natasha's law is so important.'
