Reese Witherspoon 'buys $6.2 million Malibu compound with farmhouse and studio space for filming'
Meet Malibu's newest homeowner, Reese Witherspoon.
The actress, 43, has snapped up a $6.2 million, two acre compound in the beach community, according to Page Six.
The gated property was previously used as an event space for weddings, and includes a 1949 farmhouse and studio space for filming.

Sources say the accomplished producer and actress, who founded the production company Hello Sunshine, will not be using the residence for work.
'It's not going to be her primary residence,' the insider said.
Reese's new home includes a guesthouse, stables, outdoor living room and fire pit.
With homes in the Pacific Palisades and her stomping grounds of Nashville, Reese has quite the property portfolio.

The New Orleans-born actress has previously owned properties in Brentwood and Ojai, the sleepy town where she married Jim Toth.

The Legally Blonde actress has 19-year-old daughter Ava and son Deacon, 15, from her first marriage to Ryan, and son Tennessee, six, with Jim.

Reese has quite the busy schedule as of late.
Aside from her work on the critically-acclaim show Big Little Lies, she also will appear in The Morning Show series, Sing 2, and Legally Blonde 3.
