Spencer Pratt claims Brody's wife Kaitlynn Carter caused rift with the Kardashians when she wasn't invited to Kim and Kanye's wedding
Spencer Pratt loves to stir up drama.
And following the premiere of The Hills: New Beginnings on Monday, the reality star had a lot to say about his cast mates, including his beef with longtime pal Brody Jenner's wife Kaitlynn Carter.
In his recap of the show for Cosmopolitan Spencer, 35, claims Kaitlynn is the reason Brody, 35, fell out with his former stepsister Kim Kardashian, 38.

'When Brody first started dating Kaitlynn, I was friends with him, and he was telling me that he was just starting filming for the Kardashians. I was telling him he needed to get all over that show. This was it: He was back in the game.'
Spencer recalled that Kim helped Brody boost his profile but that his new girlfriend made things more complicated by insisting she should be invited to Kim and Kanye's 2014 wedding in Italy.
'Kim tagged him in a couple of posts and he jumped from 100,000 followers to about three million real quick. And then he’s like, "Can you believe this? Kim and Kanye invited me to their wedding, but they didn’t give me a plus-one. And I want to bring Kaitlynn!"'

Spencer made the claims on his Cosmopolitan blog writing: 'Kaitlynn made such a big deal about it that Brody didn't go to the wedding'
'He'd only been dating Kaitlynn for a year. Brody dates lots of girls for a year,' Spencer continued.
'Kaitlynn made such a big deal about it that Brody didn't go to the wedding and publicly made statements about how they didn't give him a plus one. Kaitlynn for sure thought if they played hard to get, Kim would give in. But no one's entitled to a plus-one!'
Spencer went as far to accuse Kaitlynn of being a 'clout chaser'.
'She had 95 followers before she started dating Brody. Then she became an 'influencer.' And she made it a point to never invite me, an actual influencer, to her parties.'
Kim, 38, ended up addressing her decision not to give Brody a plus-one in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2015.

'Kaitlynn for sure thought if they played hard to get, Kim would give in. But no one's entitled to a plus-one!' Spencer added
'I don't know why Brody is still talking about this. We were very strict about our wedding. There were less than 200 people there,' she said at the time.
Kim noted that she didn't even let her sister Khloé Kardashian bring a date. 'Everyone else respected that – it's not a big deal. We love our stepbrothers. It just seems like they are always talking about this divide.'
In an interview with DailyMailTV on Monday Brody said his old reality show Princes Of Malibu was likely the inspiration for the whole era of reality TV, in particular, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Brody starred with Spencer on the early Fox reality show which aired for just one season.

At the time of the series, Kris was married to Brody's father, Caitlyn Jenner - then known as Bruce.
Talking about his experience back on the reboot, The Hills: New Beginnings, Brody was levelheaded.
'It was fun at times,' Brody said apprehensively. 'There were some heated moment, I'm gonna say.'
