Incredible footage shows the Emmy award winner stepping off the stage in St Paul, Minnesota, before passing the microphone to 25-year-old Joe Kripal who turns to 24-year-old girlfriend Sanaa Ahmed.
The audience member had sent the actor a letter back in December last year asking for help with the life-defining moment.

'We went ring shopping this weekend as I still didn't have one,' said Joe.
His now fiancee laughs before showing the audience the ring who scream and clap in excitement.
The pair had gone to his show called 'The Man. The Music. The Show.' on Saturday two weeks ago with family.
It was held at the Xcel Energy Center.
