All eyes were on Céline because her mesh dress left little to the imagination with its transparent design made up of fine wavy red strands.

The songstress combed her golden tresses back out of her eyes and she complemented her features with a generous dosage of pink make-up.

Earlier in the day, Céline luckily had the help of a man who held her hand while she left the opulent Ritz hotel.

She is set to take to Hyde Park to perform at the British Summertime Festival in July.

The singer appeared on This Morning to talk about her beauty regime which achieves her flawless looks at 51.

She said: 'I sweat on stage, I think that is very important to keep brushes clean. Sometimes I wish I could sweat so much so people can see how hard I work!

'You see Tina Turner sweating and Mariah with a handkerchief and I think, I wanna sweat, I’m working hard too you know! I wanna sweat!'

She added: 'On stage, I don’t use water base make-up, I use oil based make-up. Because sometimes things may get emotional and I might cry. Water based, if I cry, it’s gonna streak but oil based it stays in place, so I can wipe it off.'

Speaking as a L'Oréal spokesperson, she said: 'I use Excellence hair colour, it works really well. I was so glad they asked me, when I was a child, didn’t think I could be a voice, a face for L'Oréal. I can’t believe they asked me at 51 to be a spokesperson.'

Céline said that make-up is a luxury for her. She said: 'I couldn’t afford at beginning to have make-up.

'I watched make-up artists and I started to do their tricks and doing it myself. Even though sometimes I have 20 minutes to do my make-up, I just love to do it.'
