Jerry Seinfeld accuses James Corden of ripping off his Comedians in Cars format... as Eddie Murphy leads stars in new trailer

Jerry Seinfeld calls out James Corden for 'knocking off' the format of his series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee in a sneak peek of the upcoming season 11.

Jerry's initial web series, which documents him cruising around in various classic/quirky vehicles with notable comedians, launched in 2012.

The 65-year-old actor introduces the trailer for the new series of his Netflix show by citing all the shows that have copied his format.

'Here at Comedians in Cars getting coffee we have noticed that we have, shall we say, 'influenced' a number of other shows,' Jerry begins before listing off some similar shows.

'Such as Carpool Karaoke, Alec Baldwin's Love Ride, Comedians Watching Football with Friends, Funny Uber Rides, Clergy in Cars getting Coffee, Hiking with Kevin, Politicians in Cars getting Coffee, Comedians on Bikes getting Soup, Coffee Break, Coffee Run, Cougars in Cars getting Cosmos,' he lists off.

British host Corden began doing his Carpool Karaoke segment, which sees him inviting various celebrities to be interviewed and sing along to hits in the passenger seat of his car, in 2015, as part of The Late Late Show on CBS.

'These are all real shows and we are proud that others have taken notice of our style and been inspired by it,' Jerry continues.

'The only comment we would like to make is, "If you're gonna knock us off, get it right!"'.

Jerry then introduces some of the stars he will have on the upcoming season.

Seth Rogen, Ricky Gervais, Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx, Melissa Villaseñor and Bridget Everett are just some of the comedic talent who will be joining Jerry in the passenger seat of various vehicles as they cruise around town stopping coffee and sandwiches.

Jerry is convinced his show inspired a host of other transportation-based series and listed off some of them like Alec Baldwin's Love Ride, Comedians Watching Football with Friends, Funny Uber Rides, Clergy in Cars getting Coffee, Hiking with Kevin, Politicians in Cars getting Coffee

While some of the shows Jerry listed are likely influenced by Comedians in Cars, Corden has previously said that his Carpool Karaoke segment was inspired by a sketch he participated in for a UK Comic Relief charity special in 2011.

The skit shows him in his Gavin & Stacey character Smithy, singing alongside George Michael to the singer's Wham! hits.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee returns to Netflix July 19.
