William H. Macy films Shameless with Luis Guzmán as wife Felicity Huffman awaits sentencing over college admissions scandal

William H. Macy is back at work as the flawed Frank Gallagher in Shameless.

The actor, 69, was spotted Tuesday in Los Angeles, filming a scene for season 10 of the Showtime series.

Meanwhile, his wife Felicity Huffman is awaiting sentencing for her role in the college admissions scandal.

Macy was seen wearing a blue flannel shirt with jeans in sneakers on set for the show, which takes place in Chicago.

Also in the scene was Macy's Boogie Nights co-star Luis Guzmán, who first appeared in season nine as Mikey O'Shea.

Guzmán wore a brown flannel and a green backpack as he lied down in front of a blue Toyota for the shot.

Macy helped some other people pull Guzmán up, but if you're familiar with the show, it's likely his character was somehow responsible for the apparent accident.

He can be seen in another image, dramatically putting his hands on his head as if he's faking shock or guilt over the situation.

Meanwhile, Huffman is preparing to serve time after pleading guilty to making a 'charitable donation' of $15,000 to inflate her daughter's SAT scores.

She's likely to serve four months after being named in Operation Varsity Blues, which alleged 51 people, including Full House star Lori Loughlin, were involved in a conspiracy to influence college admissions.

A source close to the family recently told US Weekly that Huffman is 'prepared to serve the four months behind bars if that’s what she’s ordered to do.'

Ironically enough, Huffman recently starred as prosecutor Linda Fairstein in Ava DuVernay's Netflix limited series When They See Us, about the Central Park Five, who were wrongfully imprisoned for rape in 1989.

A five-time nominee, Huffman did not receive an Emmy nod for this role, as she was absent from the performance ballot, following the scandal.

She's expected to receive her sentencing on September 13, nine days before the awards show.
