REVEALED: Jeffrey Epstein said he was a 'big AIDS activist' as he groomed girl, 14, who had just lost her father to the disease 'before forcibly raping the teenager while not wearing a condom'

  • Jennifer Araoz claims in her legal filing that she was groomed for weeks by a recruiter and over a month by Epstein before she was molested
  • A recruiter, whose identity she does not known, began to appear outside her school and offer to buy her meals, during which time she quizzed the teen
  • She learned that Araoz's father had died of AIDS-related illness two years earlier, and said Epstein wanted to take care of her
  • She went to see Epstein two weeks after meeting the recruiter, and visited his home for a month, getting $300 each time she went according to the complaint
  • Then, Epstein allegedly molested the teenager after showing her his massage room, continuing to do this once of twice a week for 18 months claims Araoz
  • Araoz claims she was 'forcibly raped' at 15 by Epstein, who was not wearing a condom at the time

A complaint filed by one of the woman accusing Jeffrey Epstein of rape details how the pedophile spent months grooming her prior to forcing her into sex acts, and even used her father's recent death from an AIDS-related illness to get close to the girl.

Jennifer Araoz states in her legal filing that she was a 14-year-old student at the Talent Unlimited High School on Manhattan's Upper East Side when she was 'approached by a brunette woman, who appeared to be in her early 20s, on the side walk in front of her school.'

A few weeks later that woman had persuaded her to meet Epstein, who in turn spent over a month giving her hundreds of dollars and gifts like a camera while purporting to be an AIDS activist, according to the lawsuit.

The complaint states that the money and gifts were lorded over the teen when Epstein requested she provide him with a naked massage a few weeks after her first visit to the mansion, which ended with him performing a manual sex act on himself until completion.

These sexual assaults became increasingly depraved over the next year according to the complaint, and allegedly ended when Araoz was raped by Epstein.

That is when she left her school to avoid Epstein and began a downward spiral which ended with her dropping out of school all together, causing her to suffer emotional injuries for which she will seek damages.

Jennifer Araoz claims in her legal filing that she was groomed for weeks by a recruiter and over a month by Epstein before she was molested (left around the time of the assaults, right today)

Nearby: A recruiter, whose identity she does not known, began to appear outside her school and offer to buy her meals, during which time she quizzed the teen (a map shows Epstein's proximity to the victim's school)

Nearby: A recruiter, whose identity she does not known, began to appear outside her school and offer to buy her meals, during which time she quizzed the teen (a map shows Epstein's proximity to the victim's school)

Araoz was standing outside her high school, a fact she previously detailed in an interview on Today, when she met the woman who recruited her for Epstein.

She does not know the name of that woman, or Epstein's maid or secretary, but has issued a subopena for Epstein and his employee records to learn all three.

Araoz states that she needs the names so as to list the three women as defendants alongside Epstein in her complaint.

The initial recruiter would appear outside the school over the course of the next two weeks according to the complaint, offering to buy Araoz meals and getting her to slowly open up about her family and the death of her father just two years prior from an AIDs-related illness.

It was all then used against, with the complaint stating:  'The Recruiter then told Ms. Araoz that Epstein felt horrible about the loss of her father and said that he wanted to help her. The Recruiter said that Epstein is a "caring guy," that he said she "should not be struggling," and that he wanted "to be there for her."'

Epstein was described as a 'nice guy' with a great deal of wealth by the recruiter, who also told Araoz 'you have to see his house.'

The recruiter was ultimately able to convince Araoz to come meet Epstein at his mansion, which according to the complaint was filled with surveillance cameras.

At the end of the first visit, Epstein gave Araoz $300 in cash and said: 'Here’s a little something to help you out. I take care of the people I care about.'

He also informed her that he was 'a big AIDS activist' according to the complaint.

Things then began to slowly progress according to the complaint, with Araoz stating she continued to visit the billionaire businessman because his home was so close to her school.

The second visit resulted in Araoz getting money again and a camera.

'Ms. Araoz visited Epstein’s home with the Recruiter about once or twice a week for the first month,' sattes the complaint.

'Each time, Ms. Araoz stayed between 1-2 hours, and at the end of the stay, Epstein would direct his Secretary to give her $300 and just say that he "wanted to help her out," while she and the Recruiter would be served cheese, crackers and wine by the Maid.'

A month into this arrangement, the recruiter was removed from the occassion, and Epstein's secretary would call Araoz to directly set up her visits.

Then came the first alleged incident of sexual molestation, on the same day Epstein showed the victim his massage room according to the legal filing.

'Epstein showed Ms. Araoz the art work in the room and the massage table, stating that "not many people know about this room,"' states the complaint.

He later told the Araoz 'you really should be a model,' 'you’re beautiful,' 'I’ll bet your body is incredible,' and that 'in order to help you with your modeling career, I will need to see your body.'

The complaint states that Epstein also noted how he liked  'girls with small breasts,' and after some badgering was able to get Araoz to take off her bra, at which point he began rubbing her breasts and nude shoulders.

'He then asked her if she was good at giving massages and, considering all of the financial help he had been giving her family over the past month, insinuated that he would like one,' states the court filing.

'Epstein then walked out of the room and returned in a bathrobe. He instructed Ms. Araoz to remove everything but her bottom underwear, and laid down on the massage table (with only a towel on) instructing Ms. Araoz to proceed with a back massage.'

The complaint details some of the physical markings on Epstein's body, particularly around his back and genital areas

'After massaging Epstein’s back for about 20 to 25 minutes, Epstein suddenly turned over, removed his towel and began masturbating,' reads the complaint.

'Ms. Araoz, feeling uncomfortable and intimated, stood frozen to the side of the massage table as Epstein ejaculated on himself.'

Protesters: She learned that Araoz's father had died of AIDs-related illness two years earlier, and said Epstein wanted to take care of her (protesters outside Epstein's hearings on Monday)

Prior to the incident, Araoz claims that Epstein said: '“I take care of you, you take care of me.'

And when it was over he told her: 'This was amazing, you’re beautiful, I can’t wait to see you again. I will give you a call during the week and we’ll see each other again.'

He then took her on a tour of his home and showed her a room 'he said was designed to look like his favorite room at the White House' that was 'blue and had a distinct oval shape.'

He also showed her the master bedroom and his 'large jacuzzi and prosthetic breasts on the wall in a bathroom that he could look at or play with while in the bathtub.'

This began a pattern of assaults according to the complaint.

'For example, the second time it occurred, while Epstein started to masturbate, he grabbed Ms. Araoz's breasts hard without asking and, this time, insisted that Ms. Araoz rub his chest, arms and legs, and pinch his nipples, which he said was one of the main things that turned him on sexually,' states the court filing.

For the next 18 months, these encounters would continue 'on a weekly basis, once or twice a week,' until the end of her first semester of her sophomore year.

Each time she would get $300 left for her in a drawer by the maid.

It ended after Epstein allegedly raped Araoz,

'Epstein masturbated, as Ms. Araoz rubbed his chest. Then, all of a sudden, without giving Ms. Araoz any notice, Epstein forced his penis (which already had massage oils on it) inside her vagina and proceeded to have sex with her,' reads the complaint.

'Araoz was petrified, felt trapped and didn’t know what to do, so she just did as she was told. Epstein held her tightly and forcibly raped her.'

It is also noted that 'Epstein did not use a condom.'

When it was over, he told Araoz that 'she was amazing, that she felt amazing, and that she did nothing wrong,'

Day in court: Epstein entered a not guilty plea to charges of sex trafficking on Monday in federal court, for his alleged sexual abuse of three minors  (l to r: Martin Weinberg, Epstein, and Marc Fernich)

Day in court: Epstein entered a not guilty plea to charges of sex trafficking on Monday in federal court, for his alleged sexual abuse of three minors  (l to r: Martin Weinberg, Epstein, and Marc Fernich)

Epstein entered a not guilty plea on Monday just hours after it was revealed that an 'extraordinary volume of photographs of nude and partially-nude young women or girls' was discovered by agents over the weekend during their search of Epstein's Manhattan mansion.

Federal prosecutors detailed some of the other evidence discovered inside the home in the bail memorandum, which requests that Epstein remain in prison ahead of trial.

That listed 'documents and other materials, such as contemporaneous notes, messages recovered from the defendant’s residence that include names and contact information for certain victims, and call records that confirm the defendant and his agents were repeatedly in contact with various victims during the charged period.'

Meanwhile, the search uncovered 'at least hundreds—and perhaps thousands—of sexually suggestive photographs of fully- or partially nude females.'

A number of those photographs 'appear to be of underage girls, including at least one girl who, according to her counsel, was underage at the time the relevant photographs were taken.'

It is also noted that some photos were discovered in a locked safe, where agents 'also found compact discs with hand-written labels including the following: "Young [Name] + [Name]," "Misc nudes 1," and "Girl pics nude."'

The indictment against the billionaire pedophile was unsealed on Monday morning, and states that Epstein 'enticed and recruited, and caused to be enticed and recruited, minor girls at his mansion in Manhattan and his estate in Palm Beach to engage in sex acts with him.'

There were dozens of these underage girls according to the indictment, who would receive hundreds of dollars after being forced into sex acts or, as the indictment states, finding others to engage ins ex acts with Epstein.

'Moreover, in order to maintain and increase his supply of victims, Epstein also paid certain of his victims to recruit additional girls to be similarly abused by Epstein, reads the court filing.

'In this way, Epstein created a vast network of underage victims for him to sexually exploit.'

TIMELINE OF JEFFREY EPSTEIN'S LEGAL TROUBLES

1999-2002 – Virginia Roberts [Jane Doe #3] claims to she served as a 'sex slave' for Jeffrey Epstein and was required to engage in sexual activity with him and a number of his high-profile friends.

March 2005 – Authorities in Florida launch a probe into Epstein after a mother calls and alleges that her daughter was molested at his Palm Beach estate.

May 2006 – A probable cause affidavit is filed by the Palm Beach Police Department after the sexual battery investigation into Epstein, Sarah Kellen and Haley Robson Sworn. It charges Epstein with four counts of lewd and lascivious behavior for unlawful sex with a minor. Five victims and seventeen witnesses were interviewed, and alleged that Epstein engaged in unlawful sexual behavior. Sworn meanwhile was accused of profiting by providing young girls to Epstein, while Kellen was tasked with keeping a black book containing the names and contact information of these minors in her capacity as Epstein's assistant.

May 2006 – Barry Krischer, the State Attorney in Palm Beach, refers the case to a grand jury.

June 2006   The grand jury returns an indictment of one count of solicitation of prostitution. This charge does not reflect that the individual in question was a minor. Only one girl testifies in front of the grand jury.

July 2006 – The Palm Beach Police Chief grows increasingly annoyed as he watches the lack of progress his investigation is making in the legal system, and convinces the FBI to open a federal investigation. It is dubbed Operation Leap Year and the possible crime being probed is 'child prostitution.'

November 2006   Operation Leap Year picks up steam as the FBI begins interviewing potential witnesses and victims from the three states where Epstein owns property: Florida, New York and New Mexico.

June 2007 – The US Attorney’s Office drafts a lengthy indictment as the federal probe  of Epstein comes to an end, while at the same time Epstein begins negotiating a possible plea deal.

July 2007 – A new set of grand jury subpoenas are issued, including ones for Epstein’s computers. When police go to execute those subpoenas at Epstein's Palm Beach home, they discover they have all been removed.

August 2007 – The US Attorney in Miami at the time, Alex Acosta, joins the Epstein negotiation talks.

September 2007 – Epstein signs a non-prosecution agreement on September 24 after rejecting multiple plea deals. His criminal charges are then deferred to the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office.

October 2007   Acosta meets with Epstein's lawyer Jay Lefkowitz to finalize the terms of the plea deal. It is agreed that the victims would not be notified,  the deal would be kept under seal and all grand jury subpoenas would be canceled – including the one for Epstein's computers, which were still at large.

January 2008 – After months of demands, Epstein and his lawyers say they will not longer accept the plea deal because he forces him to register as a sex offender.

February 2008 – A civil lawsuit is filed against Epstein by an anonymous woman, stating that as a 16-year-old minor she was recruited to give Epstein a paid massage. She demands $50 million, claiming that she was then force to perform sex acts on Epstein.

March 2008 – A federal grand jury presentation is planned following the FBI probe. Lawyers for Epstein begin harassing victims with phone calls and one of his investigators is accused of trying to run a victim's father off the road.

March 2008 – A second woman files a civil action against Epstein.

May 2008 – It is announced that with no plea deal in case, the federal case against Epstein can proceed.

June 2008 – On June 30, Epstein pleads guilty to one count of solicitation of prostitution and one count of solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18. Both are state charges and he is sentenced to 18 months in jail. He will also have to register as a sex offender.

July 2008 – Epstein's victims learn of the plea deal, but it will be another 10 years before they are informed of all the details, including the fact that victim was 16 in the charge to which Epstein entered a guilty plea and not 14 like the women were led to believe. This allowed Epstein to avoid registering as a sex offender in multiple states like New Mexico, where he has a ranch. An emergency petition is filed udner the Crime Victims’ Rights Act, which mandates that victims be informed about plea agreements and the right to appear at sentencing. It is ignored.

August 2008 – Epstein's agreement cannot be unsealed for the victims to see it is ruled in court, with federal prosecutors fighting to keep the records hidden from the public.

October 2008 – Epstein begins work release from the county stockad, where  six days a week an he is transported to an office where he is able to work and entertain visitors. He returns to the stockade in the evening.

December 2008 – A judge grants Epstein's request to travel to New York for a day and then an extended stay. He says it is for a court case, but after an initial filing there is no follow-up in the case.

July 22, 2009 – Epstein is released from prison.
