American Horror Story: 1984 adds Pose star Angelica Ross to the star-studded cast

Ryan Murphy is bringing over one of the breakout stars from his hit FX series Pose to the latest installment of his long-running FX anthology show American Horror Story.
Angelica Ross, who plays Candy in Pose, currently airing its second season, has signed on for a role in the ninth season of American Horror Story.

Murphy revealed the news in an Instagram post this afternoon, just hours after last night's episode of Pose on FX, where Ross' character Candy was murdered.
'Last night’s episode of Pose required us all to dig deep — @janetmock as writer, myself as writer and director, but most of all our incredible leading ladies,' Murphy began.
