'Do I believe in marriage? Yes, of course. I'm not the kind of person who is against it,' she confided in the publication.

Her public breakup in June shocked fans around the world, with some people coming up with their own theories on why the relationship ended.

These theories were further boosted from Bradley and Lady Gaga, who starred together in A Star is Born, previously performing their popular song Shallow at the Oscars in February. After the performance, speculation heated up among fans about the undeniable on-screen chemistry between the two stars.

Then three months later, Bradley and Irina announced their split — leading some to wonder if Lady Gaga was the reason.

Irina and Bradley kept their relationship relatively private in the last four years together by only appearing together during events. Despite staying away from the limelight, obsession formed among fans about the couple, and it has not gone unnoticed by Irina.

'I think it's just human beings: if you cannot have it, you want to have it,' she said. 'There's a curtain there, you want to open the curtain. It's curiosity I guess.'

Since Bradley and Irina share a daughter together, the break won't be clean as the couple learns to navigate co-parenting.

Priorities: The model confessed she did not think she needed to give up her career as a model in order to be a good mother to her daughter

Life as a mother for Irina, she explained, entailed her always being herself around her young daughter.

'You have to be really truly yourself for your kids, otherwise you're living in a lie,' she said.

'Tell me one reason why, just because you're a mother, that you need to wear a longer skirt. No! I don't believe in that. I really don't… Why should you have to change who you are and how you feel just because you become a mother?'

Irina has modeled for a plethora of brands — such as Victoria's Secret, Versace and Burberry — which will sometimes entail her baring skin in photo shoots and runways.

And prioritizing her job or showing skin,  Irina said, doesn't impact her ability to be a good mother to her daughter.

'I really believe if you love something, you can prioritize your time,' Irina said. '[Motherhood] is just an addition to your life.'

After years in the fashion industry, Irina has become a veteran with the high-power jobs she books. And her experience has helped her stand up to who she wants to be as a model.

'You have to know what you want and you have to stick with your decisions,' Irina said, adding: 'People will tell you, "you're too skinny, you're too fat." You have to learn how to love you and be comfortable in your own skin. If you really love you for who you are, I think you can do anything.'

Irina boasts 12.3 million followers on Instagram alone, and her relationship with Bradley further propelled her into the spotlight.

But despite all the attention and being a supermodel, Irina said did not want people to see her as 'perfect'.

'I have bad skin days and bad hair days. Sometimes I don't look like a model. I'm just a real human being,' she said.

'I always promote natural beauty because I think we live in this perfect world where everyone wants to be perfect,' Irina continued, adding: 'But I'm not perfect. Sometimes I have a double chin. Perfection doesn't exist.

'I'm going to have wrinkles and I have wrinkles. You just have to accept the idea of aging and of bodies at every stage, and just celebrate it. In life we have to let it go and understand it's a human process not to be perfect.'
