A white woman in Pennsylvania was captured on video going off in a racist tirade against a Puerto Rican woman speaking Spanish in a grocery store.

Johanny Santana filmed the unidentified woman telling her 'I hope Trump deports you' and implying Santana was paying with 'drug money,' then shared the clip on Facebook on June 30.

People from Puerto Rico are US citizens with all the same rights to travel around the country as a person born in Pennsylvania, where the incident took place.

Santana said that she started filming after the woman cursed when a child spoke Spanish to the cashier while shopping with his grandfather in the at the Abington market, NBC Philadelphia reported.

Between 2016 and 2017, there was a 17 percent increase in hate crimes reported in the US, the latest data from the Federal Bureau of Investigations' Hate Crimes Statistics Report shows.

The majority of hate crimes (59.6 percent) reported were found by the FBI to have been motivated by race, ethnicity or ancestry.

On June 30, the white woman captured on camera appeared to have been operating under the false belief that Santana was not a US citizen, fueling her hateful words.

According to Santana, it was a different woman who first cursed at the child speaking Spanish to his granddad while in line to check out.

'The boy comes back and asks another question [to the cashier] and that's when the woman, who was next to me, started cursing,' Santana said.

Once Santana started filming, she spoke Spanish with the child to help communicate what he needed to the cashier.

As this was happening, the white woman in the white shirt with pink stripes went off.

'Any century now,' she can be heard saying, while the employee is assisting the child and Santana.

Santana asked the woman if she had a problem with them speaking Spanish, and the woman said, 'Can you stop talking to me?'

Santana then appears shocked to hear the woman say the Spanish word for b*tch, as the white woman says, 'You're a p*ta.'

Santana then tells her not to say 'p*ta,' because it's 'no good,' to which the white woman repeats, 'You're a p*ta.'

As the video goes on, the white woman says racist tropes, including, 'I was born here, you don't belong here' and 'go back to your own country.'

Santana repeats, 'I don't care' as the white woman says, 'We're not you're f*cking piggy bank.'

As she continues to spout hate saying, 'You don't belong here, you came here illegally. You should be deported,' and 'I hope Trump deports you,' Santana gets fed up and says simply, 'F*ck you.'

'I regret it because I didn't want to tell her that,' Santana told NBC. 'I felt powerless because I didn't speak English well enough to be able to properly respond to her.'

After a moment of silence in video the white woman then says again, out of nowhere, 'P*ta,' and Santana replies, 'You a p*ta.'

Santana then breaks it down for the woman, telling her, 'P*ta significa [means] b*tch,' telling her to watch what she says.

The white woman then says, 'Adios b*tch,' before shaking her paper money at the woman and saying, 'I'm paying cash with legal money, not drug money.'

The woman has not been identified and the store where the incident occurred has not been named.

Santana did not immediately respond to a request seeking additional information.
