World Cup winning soccer star Allie Long's Los Angeles hotel room was burgled on Thursday, with her wedding ring, money and honorary key to New York City stolen.
LAPD say Long, 31, was in LA for the ESPYs and had her Ritz-Carlton hotel room broken into on Thursday afternoon, leaving the midfielder devastated.
Long's $15,000 wedding ring and a honorary gift given to her following her success on the world stage with the female soccer stars, was part of the heartbreaking theft.

She tweeted: 'After the ESPYS show someone stole my wedding ring, cash and the key to my favorite city after just receiving it from my hotel room'

Sources tell us there were no signs of forced entry and police believe the door may have been left ajar, according to TMZ.

Long is a native of Northport, Long Island, New York, and has been married to Jose Batista since Oct. 2016.
The 31-year-old has 45 international caps for the U.S. since debuting for the team in 2014.
Police are currently at the hotel investigating.
