Matt Damon got close with his wife Luciana Barroso as they vacationed in Portofino on Thursday night.

The 48 year old actor and his wife of 13 years were spotted getting close over dinner, and then taking a boat ride with some friends.

Damon was spotted earlier in the day boating with his wife and daughters Isabella, Gia and Stella.

The happy couple were clad in black, with Damon rocking a black t-shirt and black pants with brown sandals.

His wife was wearing a black low-cut halter top that exposed part of her midriff plus a long flowing black skirt with black sandals.

She completed her outfit with large gold hoop earrings with a thin gold necklace and bracelets.

Aside from a few cameo roles in Deadpool 2 and Thor: Ragnarok, Damon has been absent from the big screen in recent years, but that changes this fall.

Damon stars as legendary auto designer Carroll Shelby in the upcoming 20th Century Fox biopic Ford vs. Ferrari.

The biopic, in theaters November 15 follows Shelby and driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) as they build the Ford GT40, in a bid to end Ferrari's supremacy at the 24 Hours at LeMans race.

Damon met his wife Barroso on the set of Stuck On You in Miami in April 2003, and after dating for two years, they were engaged in September 2005.

The couple were married in a private ceremony in December 2005.

Their first daughter Isabela was born in June 2006, with their second daughter Gian born in August 2008 and their third daughter Stella born in October 2010.
