Idris Elba urges fans to embrace staycations: 'You don't have to go on vacation to get away - it's all about perspective'
He's a busy actor who stars in TV 'tec drama Luther and the Avengers blockbusters.
But Idris Elba couldn't resist his latest project - an ad campaign for Stella Artois lager.
The 46-year-old Brit shared the commercial on Instagram on Thursday, captioned: 'I’ve collaborated with @StellaArtois to spread the word: you don’t have to go on vacation to get away. It’s all about perspective.'

The first person to comment on the commercial was Dwayne, The Rock, Johnson who said: 'You bring your Stella and I’ll bring my tequila to our @hobbsandshaw premiere. Cheers brudaahhh.'

Idris plays Brixton in the Fast & Furious spinoff that's due out on August 1.
The Stella commercial kicks off with the actor dressed in a yellow polo shirt and cream slacks as he sits on a sofa enjoying a cold one.
He says: 'If vacation is the best part of summer, why not make it part of the summer. How, you say? Easy.'

Then it cuts to Idris on a putting green on top of a tall building as he takes aim at a golf ball that apparently lands on another green on the roof of a building nearby.
He whoops then adds: 'Vacation isn't about where you are, it's about how you see things,' as he walks past guests as a party.
'Why wait for a week on the French Riviera when I can enjoy the whole summer here on the Hudson Riviera,' he says, referring to the river that runs through New York City.

Meanwhile, Idris, who married actress and model Sabrina Dhowre, 29, in June, is a man of many talents.
He has a regular gig as a DJ on the Spanish party island of Ibiza and was also the DJ at Prince Harry and Megham Markle's wedding reception in at Fromore House in Windsor in May.
