As revealed in an Instagram video shared on Monday, Chastain pitched the concept for 355 to director Simon Kinberg as they worked on X-Men together.
'When Simon and I were making X-Men I had this idea of doing a female ensemble action film and so, we called all the actresses and we are the studio.

'Everyone owns the film, and now we're making it! It's insane that we're actually making it now,' she said in the clip.
