A Michigan couple put their Republican pride on full display by throwing a MAGA-themed wedding complete with guns and an anti-abortion heartbeat bill petition guests could sign.

Audra Lemons and Jeff Johnson tied the knot on the Fourth of July in Kalamazoo with a wedding themed around their political beliefs and support for President Donald Trump, that saw the bride wearing a MAGA-printed dress at the reception, while her Marine veteran groom donned full dress uniform for the occasion.

'It looked like America threw up all over my wedding and I'm not sorry,' Audra told Fox 17 about the event.

The wedding was decked out in red, white and blue with the groomsmen even wearing 'don't tread on me' cuff-links.

When Audra walked down the aisle to meet her future husband, a veteran of the US Marines and the US Army, who wore his full dress blues for the occasion, she wore a standard white wedding gown.

But she then changed into a different dress for the wedding pictures and reception.

The dress, designed by Andre Soriano, was created from a MAGA flag and featured Trump's popular slogan 'Make America Great Again' down the front.

Andre is known for creating custom 'Trump gowns' for people, including previously designing dresses for outspoken MAGA supporter and singer Joy Villa.

His designs from MAGA flags made it the ideal dress to fit Audra's theme.

In one picture of the bride, she proudly carried a gun while modeling her MAGA-themed wedding dress.

The theme carried on with the wedding party, as bridesmaids wore floor-length blue dresses while the groomsmen wore gray tuxes with red vests underneath.

At the reception, guests were encouraged to sign anti-abortion heartbeat bill petitions at their tables.

Although the wedding was heavily themed in Republican and MAGA pride, Audra made a point to state that all were welcome at the wedding no matter their political beliefs.

Her maid of honor, in particular, is a Democrat and does not support Trump.

She approached the bride about not wearing a Trump hat during the wedding party pictures.

'We were gonna do our photos with the Trump hats and she said, "You know I love you, but I can't wear the Trump hat,"' Audra explained, recalling her conversation with her maid of honor.

'I said, "It's OK. It's OK. Just wear a red hat. We still love you. We can have completely different opinions about everything and still love each other."'

The couple had a number of family and friends show up to their wedding and support their theme.

But Audra's father-in-law refused to attend.

'He sent us a text message,' Audra said. 'It said, "As long as you support that racist in the White House, I won’t be attending your wedding." Which is sad but we did have a lot of people that loved us and showed up.'

Audra claimed she would absolutely show up to a President Barack Obama-themed wedding if invited.

Sharing the images on social media sparked some backlash for Audra from followers who were not impressed by the political theme.

'Looks like she's wearing...the cover for the tables,' one person commented.

Another person said they were 'literally dying' that someone made MAGA their wedding theme.

'This is an actual wedding. Like a real thing. That happened. This happened,' the shocked commenter expressed.

But Audra was unwilling to let any commenters ruin her day, and she claimed her MAGA dress 'cost more than [the commenters] entire years pay' when clapping back at one woman.
