Katie Holmes has been out enjoying the city this summer.
The Dawson's Creek star, 40, had a quizzical look on her face Tuesday night while out with a friend in New York. The actress wore a relaxed white cotton button-down blouse with the sleeves rolled up, along with a pair of perfectly fitted jeans.
This sighting comes after her boyfriend Jamie Foxx was seen taking his children to Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Katie's striped shirt featured a mandarin-style color which she left open to allow the evening breeze to cool her.
Her hair was up in a knotted chignon, and she carried a dark leather handbag.
The actress, who looked as though she might be waiting for someone, completed her evening look with a pair of new-looking white sneakers.
Never shy to be out and about in the city, Holmes has recently been spotted in similar casual day looks as well as gym gear showing off her toned figure.

The actress enjoyed great success early in her career in a series of well known films both before and during her stint on Dawson's Creek, including The Ice Storm, Go and Wonder Boys, in the year 2000.
