Real Housewives Of Orange County: Tamra Judge reveals she's worried son Ryan Vieth will commit suicide as she sobs during joint therapy session

Tamra Judge worried her son Ryan Vieth might commit suicide on Tuesday's episode of The Real Housewives Of Orange County.

At a meeting with his therapist, Mcayla Sarno, Tamra, 52, listened in horror as she read a laundry list of the things her 33-year-old son had recently said about himself.

'I'm a bad person,' he began. 'Worthless. I'm a failure. Can't succeed. Powerless. I don't belong. I don't matter.'

Tamra had urged her eldest to see therapist after seeing how he was struggling with life, becoming numb and shutting down because he felt overwhelmed.

'He's just not happy right now,' said the mom of four. 'And I want to see him happy.'

As soon as the session started, Tamra broke into tears, telling Mcayla how she'd gotten pregnant with Ryan at 17, then they were on their own for 13 years.

When she remarried, her son spent time battling his stepfather, and continued to feel ignored by his birth father, who never tried to see Ryan's four-year-old daughter Ava.

'I carry guilt 'cause I feel like I let him down,' Tamra reflected. 'I look at my kids now and the opportunities that they have. I got two kids in college now. Ryan never... He ran out of the house at 18, 'cause he couldn't stand his stepdad. He doesn't want to be controlled, he doesn't want to be told what to do, so he fights life.'

Ryan felt that he'd been denied the emotional and material support his siblings got, and it was making him angry and resentful, he said.

'I can look at my son's eyes and see that he is not himself,' Tamra affirmed, concerned that Ryan was isolating himself with Ava instead of focusing on personal growth.

'I worry that someday Ryan might commit suicide. That's my biggest, biggest fear.'

She showed Mcayla the list of Ryan's goals that he created six years before, and the therapist said he could get 'unstuck' if he tried to work through things.

When Tamra spoke to her husband Eddie Judge about it later, he had a harsh take.

'When you're struggling with your childhood issues as a man, I don't think you're a man, okay?' Eddie said in a confessional, advising Ryan to 'get over it.'

Ryan's difficulties weren't the only trouble plaguing Tamra during the episode.

As it opened, Kelly Dodd and Emily Simpson, 43, discussed the fact that Tamra had been spreading rumors about everyone, calling her a 'puppet master.'

Last week, Kelly, 43, learned that Tamra was the source of the show's infamous sex 'train' rumor, which claimed Kelly had group sex with men.

Kelly told Emily she and Tamra talked about their other castmate, Shannon Beador, 55, every morning, but added that she felt safe doing so with her old friend.

When she learned what Tamra had said about her, the gloves came off.

'She sent me some nasty-ass texts,' Tamra complained to Gina Kirschenheiter, 35, as the two of them had lunch one afternoon.

She showed Gina a text that read: 'You bring my s*** up and it's bulls****!! It's not even true! I've had your back… so you want to play your games… It's on girl!!'

Tamra, who'd just come back from a vacation with Eddie, was also being ignored by Shannon, her best friend—and she sensed that she was being 'iced out.'

'I'm to the point where I'm paranoid, like what did I do?' Tamra wondered.

'I had drinks with Shannon the other day,' Gina shared. 'Shannon had stuff to say about you.'

Shannon, it seemed, had heard from a furious Kelly that Tamra gossiped about her too, saying she was getting fat, and exaggerating a recent injury.

Kelly also revealed that Tamra didn't want to stay with Shannon on a group trip.

Tamra had tried to connect with Shannon a few times, only to hear that her pal was 'too busy' for them to get together.

'Shannon, you're full of s***,' Tamra swore. 'You did something wrong.'

She was already stressed out because Ryan had started therapy, and her teen daughter Sophia was off with her dad visiting her sister Sidney at college.

'I'm not good,' Tamra complained. 'I have a f***ing ulcer now, I think.'

Tamra later met with Shannon for coffee, and asked her what was going on, which prompted Shannon to tell her what Kelly had said.

She swiftly deflected the blame, putting the focus on Kelly rather than copping to anything she may have done.

'What happened for Kelly to just switch like that?' Tamra repeatedly asked Shannon. 'It doesn't make any sense to me at all.'

She accused Shannon of having riled Kelly up in the first place.

'I have been nothing but a good friend to you all the time,' Shannon retorted. 'You're not going to spin this on me, Tamra.'

'You're a puppet master,' Tamra told her. 'You're so calculated.'

She showed Shannon printouts of the text messages she'd gotten from Kelly.

Shannon swore she didn't know what happened, but lamely admitted that 'someone said that you said the word 'train,' without revealing exactly who told Kelly.

'If she's pissed at me, I don't really give a s***,' Tamra explained. 'But for her to go and try to make you mad at me because she's hurt is bulls***.'

Shannon agreed, but pressed Tamra to reveal whether she'd started rumors about Kelly.

'Not that I recall,' Tamra bluffed. 'I'll tell you that right now.'

In private, Shannon acknowledged that she knew Tamra had spread gossip, though Tamra was not done identifying the 'real' culprit.

'To me, it sounds like the common problem is Kelly Dodd,' she told Shannon. 'I'm done with her.'

As Tamra fulminated, Kelly sought support from Emily and Braunwyn Windham-Burke, whom she met for lunch.

They shook their heads over Tamra and the rest of the cast's manipulative ways.

'It's like a chess game,' Braunwyn noted. 'It's a chess game of middle-age women.'

'You know what they are?' Kelly asked. 'They're chess players and we're checkers. They're so ahead, and so calculated.'

Family matters also came to the foreground for the cast during Tuesday's episode, entitled 'The Orange Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree.'

Braunwyn and her husband Sean Burke drove their daughter Bella, 18, to her college orientation at California State University, Fullerton.

Bella was interested in studying art, and was excited to tour her new school.

As she did, Shannon spoke to her daughter, Sophie, 17, about choosing the right college, and even found her a college prep counselor, Yosepha.

Sophie, who had 'a little above a 4.0' and was in the process of writing a book about life with divorced parents, seemed worried when Yosepha suggested she work on building a brand and market herself to college admissions teams.

Sophie wanted to study psychology and was looking at Southern Methodist University, in University Park, Texas, where she thought she might find a Southern man.

'I will do anything to get my kid into college,' Shannon confessed. 'The Beadors are above the law… no wait, hold on, the Beadors are not above the law!'

Neither RHOC star was ready to see her child leave the nest, though with seven kids, the picture was very different for Braunwyn than Shannon, who had three.

Braunwyn opined that it would be 'a hard shift' for her when all of her kids moved out, and marveled at how different her life had been from the way theirs would be.

'I think my biggest regret in college was how quickly I got engaged to Sean and settled down,' she admitted, noting that she moved in with her future husband at age 18.

'I look at Bella, who's actually older than I am when I met her dad, and I think: ''Wow, would have been nice sort of, to do the whole college thing''.'

She was too young for college, but Kelly's daughter Jolie, 12, was arranging to go to London by herself.

She hung out and chatted with her mom as she planned for the trip.

Kelly asked her 'old soul' of a daughter why she thought her castmates attacked her.

'They say people that are hurt, hurt others,' the preteen suggested. 'Maybe that's why.'

Gina also met with her parents Gene and Susan to discuss her relationship with ex-husband Matt Kirschenheiter, from whom she was getting a divorce.

Matt wanted to get back together, she said, and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. She wanted a divorce no matter what, as she felt their old union was 'over.'

'If I do decide to get back with Matt, I don't want to bring any of that past—sort of what I consider a failure—into this new relationship,' she mused.
