  • Tekashi 6ix9ine and the gang caused 'emotional distress' & 'mental anguish'
  • One of the victims was a recently widowed mother and grandmother
  • Tekashi immediately snitched on member of the Nine Trey bloods after arrest

The victims of Tekashi 6ix9ine who 'helped' his gang to commit armed robbery have said he should remain behind bars so he can suffer, court documents have revealed.

Tekashi, 23, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, will be sentenced on Wednesday for his involvement in alleged drug sales, shootings and an armed robbery in April 2018.

Ahead of the hearing, his unidentified victims have written to the judge to plead that Tekashi stays locked up, detailing the impact his crimes have had.

The rapper previously testified that members of his Nine Trey gang tried to pull off a hold-up against representatives of Rap-a-Lot records in New York in April 2018.

A case of mistaken identity led the criminals to target two publicists in the lobby who had nothing to do with the company.

The Nine Trey bloods were on a campaign against the recording label and their CEO due to a perceived diss against Tekashi.

In a letter sent to the judge ahead of Tekashi's sentencing hearing on Wednesday, one victim, a 33-year-old man, spoke of the trauma caused by the events.

'To this day, I still have not been able to find an apartment alone for fear of being by myself at any time,' he writes in the letter seen by TMZ.

'After the event, I refused to sleep alone. I stayed at my partner’s home, to continue to stay under the radar.

'Everyday of my life I live in constant fear that someone (his goons/supporters/ constituents) will be sent to finish the job.'

It's alleged that Tekashi filmed the robbery and later published it on social media, where it went viral. Both affected individuals said that this compounded the trauma.

'Please think about me and think about my life when you sentence this person. Why should this person, who nearly ended my life, be free when I am not free?,' he added.

The other publicist, a mother and grandmother who did not reveal her age, said that the event had caused her significant emotional distress, both on the day, and in the months after.

'As a result of this entire ordeal, I have suffered greatly from mental anguish and emotional distress,' she wrote to the judge.

'So traumatized by this aftermath, that over a year later, I have had a difficult time getting past the incident suffering from what we believe is post-traumatic stress disorder.'

Similarly to the other publicist, she said the video of her escaping from the 'thugs' that went viral, added 'insult to injury' when the 'public laughed.'

The woman said Tekashi is liable for the day's events and 'should be held legally and monetarily responsible for emotional distress, damages, losses and so much more.'

'I pray that you can find it in your heart to help this innocent grandmother and recent widow and young man find peace from this entire ordeal and get my life back,' she added.

The 23-year-old is facing a minimum of 47 years in prison but could get time served for helping police in their investigation into the gang.

Tekashi was charged with his Nine Trey affiliates last year in an indictment outlining their alleged involvement in drug sales and two shootings in New York City.

Facing a string of charges including racketeering and firearms offenses, the rapper immediately flipped against the others and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in hopes of earning himself a break at his own sentencing.

He pleaded guilty to nine federal charges including ones related to racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offences and drugs trafficking.

Under the plea deal he testified against two high-ranking members - Anthony 'Harv' Ellison and Aljermiah 'Nuke' Mack - who were both subsequently convicted.

Tekashi also testified that rapper Cardi B was a Blood member.

In a plea for lenient sentencing, Tekashi wrote a grovelling letter to a New York judge.

Tekashi, who was charged along with five other 'Nine Trey' gangsters in November 2018, was mocked by the Hip-Hop community for turning 'snitch' and cooperating with prosecutors in a bid to earn himself a lighter sentence.

And sources at Tekashi's detention center told TMZ that he is feeling the pressure ahead of his sentencing hearing on Wednesday.

The source said he is incredibly nervous and that he has no idea what to expect.

In the letter obtained by TMZ, Tekashi writes: 'I'm sorry to the victims who were affected by my actions, to my fans who look up to me and were misled, to my family who depends on me and to this courtroom for this mess that I contributed to.
