The Fort Hamilton Parkway/Sea Beach Line stop has the standard design of a two entrances, one at either end with two concrete dilapidated side platforms. The entrance to Fort Hamilton Parkway is at the west end of the station and contains the full time token both and turnstiles, in the standard concrete station house above the tracks, it leads out to the east side of its respective street. The other, eastern entrance contains only high turnstile equipment in its own station house and leads out to the west side of 11 Avenue. Each station entrance has only one staircase down to each platform that leads to an enclosed overpass and the entrance to the station house that is over the middle unused tracks. The platform is longer than the train requiring passengers, particularly at the 11 Avenue end to walk a bit to reach the last car of the train. The Coney Island-bound platform is cut into the side of the trench and has concrete pillars holding up its canopy. The Manhattan-bound platform is not cut into the side of the trench because the one-track Bay Ridge Railroad of the LIRR that still sees some freight service. This platform has a canopy for its entire length but its not held up by concrete pillars along the trackside but looks like a canopy found at a regular outdoor station. The lower half of the wall is concrete, with a small upper portion that allows some more light onto the platform with the canopy cantilevered and no separate columns along the platform.
