Joan Collins, 87, exudes glamour in a satin face mask and pale pink coat as she steps out with husband Percy Gibson, 55

She has recently started working on a new project, medieval drama series Glow and Darkness alongside TV stars Denise Richards and Jane Seymour.

Yet Joan Collins enjoyed some downtime as she headed for dinner at LouLou's Restaurant in London's Mayfair with husband Percy Gibson on Wednesday evening.

The Dynasty star, 87, donned a long, baby pink coat as she bundled up in the breezy autumnal weather, enjoying a final night on the town before England's lockdown came into force on Thursday.

She paired her pastel ensemble with black heeled boots and wide-legged trousers, grasping a black leather-look clutch bag in one hand and holding her husband's hand with the other.

The American Horror Story actress was later seen wearing black leather gloves with a headscarf elegantly wrapped around to shield herself from the icy chill.

She added a touch of glamour to her attire with a smokey eye makeup and wore her brunette tresses swept back from her face in an updo.

Joan protected herself with a satin face mask, which covered her lower face and neck, making sure to follow the current Covid-19 safety regulations.

The TV star strutted arm-in-arm with her husband, 55, who sported an understated grey suit and a matching turtleneck jumper. The producer paired his outfit with plain black suit shoes.

Following Joan's example, Percy donned a white respirator-style face mask, which he later removed while he smoked a cigarette.

The couple's outing came hours before the second national lockdown came into force in England on Thursday, which is set to continue until at least December 2.

Joan previously said that she had become 'closer than ever' to her husband following the first coronavirus lockdown in March.

The actress - who married the producer in 2002 - revealed that having to spend more time together has helped their relationship.

Speaking to Hello! magazine from her home in St Tropez in September, she said: 'Being in lockdown has made me realise how strong our relationship really is.

'I love entertaining guests at the villa, travelling and socialising, but that changed and because of the restrictions it's just Percy and me. The great thing is we're partners in crime, accomplices.'

Joan previously declared she'd 'settle' at living until she's 100, and brushed off the age difference between her and Percy.

In an interview in May she mused that 'people make too much fuss about age, which is just a number.'

Speaking to The Mirror, Joan said: 'I think there's a big difference between biological age and the age you're supposed to be.

'As you know, Percy is somewhat younger than me. At first people would always say, 'What are you going to do about the age difference?' I'd say, 'Well, if he dies he dies!''

'Will I outlive you all? No, I don't want that.'

She captioned the snap: 'With @lilycole on the set of #glowanddarkness - waiting for action.'

Another photograph saw Joan backstage gazing into a mirror in full costume, sporting a blonde wig that saw the star looking almost unrecognisable.
