The scene saw the Gogglebox star stroll into the living room wearing sexy womenswear, much to the amusement of his sister Sophie.

Before his outfit was revealed, viewers heard Pete moan: 'Oh my God, I'm going to have to take these heels off - how do women wear this s**t?'

After revealing his Halloween costume, he continued: 'I look like a d***head, honestly - this outfit says: "I'm getting c**k tonight".'

Sophie replied: 'That is the look we were going for!' to which Pete responded: 'Well it's not the look I want to give off!'

According to The Sun, following the scene, Ofcom received 'multiple complaints' about 'alleged homophobic comments'.

MailOnline has contacted Gogglebox and Ofcom for comment.

The report comes after Gogglebox was hit with more Ofcom complaints after some viewers were left unimpressed with comments made about Bill Bailey's dance moves.

During the episode Giles and his wife Mary were seen watching the comedian's first routine on Strictly Come Dancing, with Giles saying: 'He looks like a sex tourist.'
