Ant McPartlin threatened to sack Declan Donnelly's wife and their manager Ali Astall for signing them up to do their first ever Bushtucker Trials, after 19 years of watching other stars do stomach-churning tasks.
During Sunday's special I'm A Celebrity... A Jungle Story, host Ant, 44, couldn't hide his fear as he and his sidekick, 45, were forced to take part in three challenges, including Catch A Falling Star, Face Your Fears and an eating task.
Viewers rejoiced and admitted their stint was 'the lift they needed' as the tables turned for the Geordie duo.

Presented by Joel Dommett, the TV stars were left unimpressed Joel announced the first BTT, which required the duo to catch stars which dropped on their head, after being covered in green slime and creepy crawlies.
The next trial saw the pair sport helmets filled with cockroaches, giant spiders and even snakes for two minutes.
Items on the menu for Ant were a witchetty grub, blended vomit fruit and a fish eye, while Dec tucked into a fermented duck egg, blended cockroaches and a pig’s penis for their final challenge.

Sharing his shock at talent manager Ali, an irritated Ant admitted: 'What's funny is that Dec's wife is our manager, so she signed all of this off. Your wife is so sacked!'

Hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the ITV programme, which will be returning for its 20th series from November 15, has seen the show relocate from the jungles of Australia to North Wales' Gwrych Castle due to travel concerns sparked by the coronavirus pandemic.
Also competing for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle will be Vernon Kay, 46; Jessica Plummer, 28; Shane Richie, 56; Victoria Derbyshire, 52; Giovanna Fletcher, 35; Hollie Arnold, 26, and Jordan North, 30.
