She's been loving the stateside life ever since she relocated to California with her family in 2014.

And Patsy Palmer appeared in great spirits as she walked her dogs with her husband Richard Merkell and their son Bertie, nine, in Malibu on Wednesday.

The EastEnders star, 55, cut a casual figure as she teamed a clear protective face mask with a baseball cap for her low-key outing.

Maintaining her dressed down appearance, the actress sported a padded jacket, a black T-shirt and cropped trousers.

The media personality borrowed style inspiration from her EastEnders character Bianca Jackson as she rounded off her outfit with animal print canvas shoes.

With her tresses worn in loose waves, the DJ accentuated her beauty with minimal make-up.

The auburn-haired beauty has made a home for herself in the Californian city with Richard and their children, Fenton, 20, Emilia, 19, and Bertie. The thespian also has son Charley, 28, from a past romance with boxer Alfie Rothwell.

While an appearance on EastEnders is currently off the cards during her stay in America, Patsy admitted she was considering a return to the show before the global coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking via video call with former co-star Sid Owens on a recent episode of Loose Women, the TV star said: 'I haven't watched EastEnders so I don't know how they are doing it now.

'I mean, I was there just before lockdown and I had to leave. There was a little bit I was going to do but I didn't end up doing it and I don't know how they're doing it now because I haven't seen it.'

The media personality joined the cast of the BBC soap at the age of 21 in 1993, and last appeared in her role in 2019.

During her rise to fame, the Bethnal Green native experimented with drugs and alcohol, but later overcame her substance abuse with therapy.

On her recovery, Patsy reflected to The Sun: 'It feels so foreign now, I’m so far removed from it...

'I couldn’t even do yoga when I was in my 20s because I couldn’t sit still. Right now is the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m always in the now and it’s the only place I want to be.'
