Meghan Trainor reveals she tried for a Christmas baby ... but is set to give birth to her first child close to Valentine's Day
Meghan Trainor, 26, is a Christmas baby and she tried to carry on the tradition with her own child.
The Grammy-winner, who is currently pregnant, revealed that she 'didn't achieve that goal' of a Christmas due date but will be giving birth close to Valentine's Day during a chat with Boston's Morning Magic via RADIO.COM.
Meghan is a huge lover of the Christmas holiday and is currently promoting her festive new album, A Very Trainor Christmas, which was released in October.

'I'm here, I'm pregnant, I'm happy,' she said in the interview.
Meghan dished about her love of the holiday season and explained that since she was born on December 22 she and husband Daryl Sabara aimed to have their own Christmas baby.
Unfortunately, when it came to planning, they were a few months off and 'didn't achieve that goal.'
Trainor is set to give birth to her first child nearer to another holiday, Valentine's Day, in February 2021.

While many kids born around the end of December felt like they got slighted growing up, Meghan said that her parents always went out of their way to make sure she and her brother (born December 17) celebrated their birthdays as well as Christmas.
'My parents, they were so good to me, they always made it feel so special, and that day was my day,' she revealed.
This year, Trainor said she is still looking forward to the Christmas holiday and, since there isn't much traveling because of the coronavirus pandemic, things are easier than usual.
'Without traveling it's much easier,' Meghan explained. 'But it's still a lot of interviews at home and zooms and trying to figure out how to unmute myself.'

This will mark her last Christmas before becoming a mom and a family of three.
Trainor first met her future husband at a house party in 2014, although she did not begin dating the Spy Kids star until two years later.
The couple got engaged in late 2017 and were married the year after that on December 22, which also happened to be Trainor's 25th birthday.
Then, the pair revealed that they were going to welcoming a child in early October, and the singer stated that she is hoping to start a big family later on.

Recently, the singer got candid about her pregnancy with Today Parents, where she stated that, for the duration of her pregnancy, she will not have sex with her 28-year-old husband Daryl Sabara.
'Maybe this is weird, but mentally I can’t have sex while our son is in between us,' said the songbird.
She also stated that even though multiple sources are telling her about the benefits of having sex while being pregnant, 'All I can think about is that there’s a little boy in my belly.'
