Town Water Invoices - Date Correction

The billing period reflected in the most recent water invoices is inaccurate and should be for the April 2020 through October 2020 billing period.  The invoices are otherwise accurate and actually reflect the correct amount of usage for the current billing period.  We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused and will address and correct
the issue going forward.  Any questions may be directed to the Water Department at 508-627-4717.

Obtaining a Shellfish License: 

Senior Resident Shellfish Licenses from 2019 have all been renewed. If you have yours from last year, you can use that. If not, please see below. 
 
All Shellfish Licenses: In Person Shellfish License Sales will be available in the parking lot of Town Hall under the tent on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Please bring exact change or check. Mask required.

Current Marriage License Information

The clerk’s office is currently available on an appointment only basis to obtain Marriage Intentions. 

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 10 am to 12 pm.
You are required to wear a mask and gloves as well as provide your own black ink pen to fill out the required paperwork.

As a reminder – there is a three (3) day waiting period to pick up your certificate and a sixty (60) day timeframe to get married once you file your paperwork. If you do not currently have a set wedding date, please consider waiting to file until you have a concrete date.

Please note:  The currently Town of Edgartown text notification system is a separate system from CodeRed and is used for urgent and non urgent notifications. This texting system that operates separate from CodeRed will continue to operate but is an opt-in cell phone reliant system whereas CodeRed can initiate communication to cell phones, email, and land line phones. CodeRed is for Emergency notifications and severe weather alerts only.
