ABOUT US
Sail Parry Sound is a not-for-profit corporation formed by volunteers in 1997 to restore the sailing heritage to the waters of Parry Sound, through excellence in sail training and regatta management.
We teach hundreds of students each summer and the sailing school was named Best in Canada in 2006.
OUR WATER
Parry Sound is the largest natural harbour on the Great Lakes. Georgian Bay is on the East side of Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada. Parry Sound sailors are the envy of the sailing world. Strong, dependable winds, on deep blue water with pine-clad pink granite shores in the heart of Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands, attract racing and cruising sailors alike.

Adult School Registration

Learn to Sail: Registration for Adult lessons
Adult sailing instruction, for those 18 and over, is available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 to 7 in July and August. Lesson prices are for two evenings for up to two people. Group rates and dates can be arranged. SPS members who have completed adult lessons and have been approved to sail by our instructors may sail one of our boats on Wednesday evenings during our sailing school’s race night. It is a good time to practice your skills while there are others on the water with you. You can participate in the racing or just sail around the bay for fun!
Please pre-register below, and enter your preferred evenings to reserve a spot. You will need to bring a PFD, water shoes, appropriate clothing and a change of clothing.

ALBACORE
Price:$800 – ALBACORE, fifteen feet, is available for purchase. It includes the trailer and everything else except the jib. It can be viewed at Larry’s Marine, in Nobel, on the old Nobel Road, Hwy 69. Asking 800.00 inclusive and negotiable. She’s a beautiful boat and needs a new home.

Price: $75.00 – $85.00Everyone is welcome to join Sail Parry Sound!
Beside enjoying the benefits of belonging to this club, you will also find that a membership in Sail Parry Sound opens doors to provincial and national sailing /yachting associations. Most important, you are standing behind the athletes representing our country. Your membership increases their support, covers the mandatory Ontario Sailing and Sail Canada fees required by all sailing schools, helps us to fund and maintain our fleet, and the upkeep of our premises.
