Brad Pitt sports fake blood and bruises as he films an intense crash scene with Joey King for the action thriller Bullet Train in Los Angeles

They're in the midst of filming a cool and sleek action thriller costarring the likes of Sandra Bullock, Zazie Beetz and Logan Lerman.

And Brad Pitt was seen alongside actress Joey King on the Los Angeles, California set of Bullet Train on Wednesday, shooting an intense-looking crash scene.

The Seven star, 57, looked bloodied and beaten as he was made up with fake blood and bruises for the scene.

The dirtied white t-shirt Brad wore had a huge gash down the front, covered in red stage blood.

His face and arms were also covered in dust and fake blood. 

Pitt, who got his start as a background performer in the 80s before commanding major attention in 1991’s Thelma & Louise, wore dark pants and weathered white tennis shoes.

Face shields, masks and rigorous testing are all being currently employed on major Hollywood productions to reduce the rate of potential onset transmission as much as possible.

King, 21, was also seen wearing a face covering, in the form of a standard blue disposable surgical mask.

The Act star was dressed like a schoolgirl, in a pink vest, short-sleeve lighter pink blouse, maroon pleated skirt and rose-colored necktie.

The up-and-coming actress had her brown hair parted at the side, hanging straight to just below her ears. It looked like it might have been a wig.

Bullet Train is being directed by stuntman-turned-director David Leitch, who has previously helmed successful action flicks including Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2.

The film is based on a Japanese novel, Maria Beetle, by Kotaro Isaka.

It costars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny and Brian Tyree Henry, along with a rumored appearance from Lady Gaga.
