There Has Been No Contact Between PSV And Simon Mignolet - Agent

The player's agent has downplayed rumours that PSV have already approached Mignolet...
Belgium Under-21 star Simon Mignolet has been in superb form this season and the Sint Truiden goalkeeper's good performances haven't gone unnoticed in the rest of Europe.

Teams such as Twente, PSV, Udinese and Sunderland are reportedly keeping tabs on the highly rated glovesman, but the player's agent, Guy Vandersmissen, has made it clear that there hasn't been any contact between the player and the Eindhoven giants so far.

"Simon is still under contract at Sint Truiden, so interested clubs have to talk with them before approaching us. There's no concrete interest at the moment though," Vandersmissen was quoted as saying by Belgian reporters.

"PSV have been linked with a move for Simon on several occasions in the past couple of weeks, but we haven't spoken with them yet. We are keeping our options open. It's important for Simon to get regular first team action at his new club."

The 21-year-old custodian's current contract at Sint Truiden is due to expire in 2011 and the Belgian side are widely expected to cash in on Mignolet this summer.
