Hi, welcome to the New Harvest Journal Club Member Registration Form!
This journal club will serve as a forum where we discuss the latest progress in research relevant to cultured meat development. This includes peer-reviewed papers from all disciplines.
Before the journal club begins, we'd like to ask you 1) If you'd like to be part of the journal club; 2) how often a paper should be reviewed, and 3) which papers you'd like to see reviewed.
The club will work as follows: members will sign up (on a sign up sheet to be sent out after the papers have been finalized) to be reviewers and editors for different papers.
Club members can also choose to participate in the club while being neither editors nor reviewers, by being included in the correspondence and invited to comment.
Reviewers
will write a review summary of the original paper they sign up for (like
this one
) in a one page, easily digestible format. This format can differ depending on the nature of the paper.
The reviewer will send their draft review summary to Rebekah, the NH Journal Club's administrator.
Rebekah will send the draft review summary out to the entire journal club with the original paper, inviting edits and comments from club members.
Editors
will consider the club's comments/edits, and be responsible for editing the review summary. The editor send the edited summary to Rebekah, who then sends the final summary to club members and posts it on the NH Academic Library website.
