Important Message

The Office of Human Resources is open for some in-person services.

All visits to the office will be conducted by appointment only, and individuals may not walk in without a previously scheduled appointment. To request an appointment or speak to a Human Resources staff member, please email careers@duq.edu or call 412-396-6575, prompt #7.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) now offers a new, online portal

Financial worries, aging parents, job stress, and health issues - everyone faces challenges from time to time. The Duquesne University EAP benefit, sponsored through LytleEAP, offers confidential, free solutions to assist you and your family members with these challenges. CUPA-HR Selects Duquesne for Eastern Region HR Excellence Award

The College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) Eastern Region board of directors has selected Duquesne's Minority Professional Development Leadership Program to receive the Eastern Region HR Excellence Award.

The award honors transformative human resources work in higher education, recognizing individuals or teams who have provided human resources leadership resulting in significant and ongoing organizational change within their institutions.

"We're honored to receive this prestigious award and grateful for the opportunity to showcase Duquesne University's efforts to build a diverse and inclusive workforce," said Ryan Dawson, senior director and deputy Title IX coordinator for the Office of Human Resources.

In addition, Duquesne's Minority Professional Development Leadership Program will be submitted to the CUPA-HR national awards committee for consideration for the national HR Excellence Award.

"We're especially thankful to Marla Bradford, senior recruiter diversity leader in the Office of Human Resources, for nominating the Minority Professional Development Leadership Program and her continued efforts to enhance the program," Dawson said.
