Alicia Keys gets the party started early ahead of 41st birthday as she enjoys a 'bubble room' art exhibit with pals

Alecia Keys is already in celebration mode for her upcoming birthday. 

The 40-year-old R&B singer posted a few pictures to her Instagram inside of a 'bubble room' on Saturday, an art installment at Superblue London, just three days ahead of her 41st birthday. 

'Never been in a bubble room before...' Alicia captioned her post, adding a few bubblebath, purples hearts and soap emojis.

The pop-up exhibitions is from TeamLab, taking place all over the world, where they 'dissolve the boundary between the physical world and the world of artwork.' 

There are currently pop ups in both London and Miami.

 Alicia and her pals wore clear ponchos as they made their way through all the bubbles. 

Underneath her protective gear, the Girl on Fire singer wore a pink and black sports bra and leggings.

'Look I'm in the cloud,' Alicia said in a video. 'Where are you? I can't find anybody.' 

The room appeared to made up of all mirrors and it was dimly lit, so the guests couldn't see far past the bubbles that were surrounding them. 

Alicia recently released her eighth studio album, Keys, in December and performed it in New York for the Today show right as it was released.

During an interview with Today, Alicia explained that this is her first double album, featuring new, original songs and remixes of some of her biggest hits.

'You get two incredible sides... the originals and unlocked,' the R&B singer said. 'It's incredible, you're going to love it.' 

She went on to talk about her upcoming world tour, which will be happening Summer 2022.

Alicia also thanked fans for being patient while her shows have been rescheduled due to Covid. 

When the superstar was asked if she will be bringing her sons on tour, she said, 'Since it's summer, I can bring them. You know Egypt, he's 11 now so he really has to keep up.'  

Alicia has two sons, Egypt, 11, and Genesis, 6. She shares them with her husband, Swizz Beats. The duo has been married since 2010.
