Ashton Kutcher kicked off his birthday by proudly promoting bioethanol during NASCAR's Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Sunday. 

The Two and a Half Men star, 44, is a big believer in the renewable energy source that is often used as an alternative motor fuel that offers '46% fewer emissions'.  

Stepping out to fly the flag for the plant by-product, Ashton donned a black T-shirt emblazoned with vehicle manufacturer Shelby American's cobra logo.

He paired the top with some blue denim jeans and a black baseball cap for his casual look at the annual racing event. 

On NASCAR's website it details: 'The event is to be contested around a quarter-mile asphalt oval that will be built around the facility’s football field. 

'The Los Angeles event will mark the first time the preseason Clash will be held outside of Daytona International Speedway since its inception in 1979.'

This comes as Ashton's wife Mila Kunis and ex-wife Demi Moore are set joke about 'having a lot in common' in an AT&T Fiber commercial that will air next Sunday during Super Bowl LVI.

A 30-second spot during the big game is said to cost advertisers an eye-popping $6.5M.

Ashton and the Ukrainian-born 38-year-old married six years ago and share two children, a daughter Wyatt, 7, and son Dimitri, 5.

Ashton will next portray Peter in Aline Brosh McKenna's home-swapping rom-com Your Place or Mine destined for Netflix alongside Reese Witherspoon, Jesse Williams, Tig Notaro, and Steve Zahn.
