Just got off the phone with tech support. Here is the run down.
The Turcom TS-6610 is exactly the same as the Huion H610 (not pro version). Which is listed for $70 on [...] and $60 on Amazon.com. Huion is also the one who developed the software that powers the Turcom as well. I don't know the reason for the Turcom/Huion relationship and licensing deals/partnerships they have. But at a glance, this does not appear to be any different than say buying a Nexus device from Google, as all of Google's Nexus phones are/were made by LG. Just as Apple devices largely were built by Samsung if not using a lot of their hardware. So this relationship isn't unnatural.
The difference in the $50 to $70 may or may not account for significant differences in dependability and reliability. I suspect likely not as both Turcom and Huion would rely on the same manufacturers in low wage Chinese-like factories.
The Turcom tablet will ship with everything included including a CD which may not have updated drivers for windows 8+ The default drivers are more likely to work on Win 10 than 8, but may prove glitchy. As the TS-6610 and the H610 are the exact same tablet, both companies have functional drivers for the product. But those drivers are not created equal. As mentioned, Huion developed the software for it.
When you buy this product, skip the CD installation and go to the website for the latest driver. (Mac compatible too)
Turcom TS-6610 drivers can be found: [...]
Huion H610 drivers can be found: [...]
If you have problems with the graphics tablet, it may be a problem of drivers. Make sure you try both if so.
You might want to just download the H610 driver from Huion just to be on the safe side and not bother with the Turcom one.
Problems:
First and foremost, contact Turcom quickly that way you are on file and build a rappore with them. If you contact them beyond their 60 day warranty/exchange/refund window, they will be able to go back and affirm that you have had a progressively worsening issue and likely will cover you beyond the 60 days (within reason). I found both email and phone tech support customer care to be to the point, simple, and comprehensive. My issues were more persistent and not plain vanilla, so Email reps were not very useful. Ultimately I got in touch with a rep on the west coast PST which is convenient for calling hours if you live on the east coast, and English was his primary language.
Secondly, the manual is simple, straight forward, to the point. But it is also garbage in terms of support/reference. It is more of an FYI pamphlet.
It would be recommended to Turcom and/or Huion to include a second book/PDF with tech support solutions. So if someone reads through the FYI pamphlet and it says "if your Support TabletPC feature is greyed out, follow the steps in (other book) on page ____". That alone would save a lot of hassle and guesswork. And it would mitigate calls to their office and emails.
Ultimately I had two key issues with this tablet that prevented me from using it. Both of them are/could be super easy to resolve, but because of the lack of info, it is nearly impossible to fix without reading this review or contacting their customer care/support and having a conversation.
1. Support TabletPC function was uncheckable and greyed out. Without this function, you have no pressure sensitivity, it's just a mouse click. The driver menu configuration for pressure sensitivity will show it working perfectly fine. But it won't work in any art program or others.
Solution: Go to Huion's website and download the H610 driver for your OS. The Support TabletPC function -should- be selectable. You will notice the driver menus are different per company. I prefer Turcom's taskbar menu program over Huion's, but Huion's got the job done and that's what matters most.
2. Sticky edges.
Turcom email support this could be solved via hot keys / border settings, but that isn't obviously true, because there is no setting for it at all.
The symptom is that when you are using programs with menus around the borders of your monitor, your cursor might skip the icon you want to click on and instead stick to the edge. And pulling it off of it can cause you to pull it past the icon again. Making the actual selection of an icon to be challenging. Obviously, this is annoying as hell. but it is something I have yet to find a solution for in either Huion or Turcom drivers. I'll likely call Huion to see if they have any experience with this issue as they seem to be the more popular/main company.
Modifying the work space of the tablet's surface in any way has not had an effect on it. It has something to do with the cursor itself. As my mouse does jump to and stick to the edges, but the pen does. Otherwise it functions great, now that I got it to work.... but for the price, I'll assume the risks and rewards of a couple minor headaches.
A final note, I think Turcom (TurcomUSA) is a company that genuinely cares and tries their best. They were quick to respond, respectful, and have been a lot of help. Even if solutions didn't work on the first try. I don't know anything about how large the company is or its' operations, but they took personal responsibility for -THEIR- product, as it is not Huion's. It is their product with their name on it, and they seem to try hard to build a legitimate business and build a good company with a good customer base. Just like Google who sells LG products, just like Apple who sells Samsung products (oh the irony there), Just as car car companies do too.
Just for fun you can read this.
[...]
My first experience with Turcom has been rocky at best, but, for the price and the quality of their customer service for a product that is largely exactly the same as a more expensive competitor, then I'll be happy to buy this product again and again and again, even if it lasts half as long as good Wacom tablet. Because I can go through 4 of these for the cost of one of theirs and have a combined product life 50% longer than the Wacom. I'm just not at the professional level needed to drop $200+ into a good tablet.
All in all, buy at your own risk. But I would say it is a worth while purchase if you are moderately tech savy and like to poke around. You can definitely get your money out of it.
I'd give it a 1 star if the customer service wasn't so awesome. And I'd give it 5 stars if I had no/minimal issues with it beyond personal preferences.

TL/DR? I like waffles. :D
I have no experience and so no means for a hands-on comparison with the big name tablet maker's products, but I have only a very few minor complaints with this very affordable, large surface tablet. I would give it 4.5 stars if it were possible because although it is great, I know that there are nicer alternatives that offer a few more features and better support. The slightly nicer alternative are unfortunately five times the price. I use it mostly for photo editing in Photoshop on a Mac and love what new abilities it gives me.
Pros:
* great sensitivity and very smooth fine control
* very affordably priced with few sacrifices
* nice large working surface
* eight physical buttons and 16 soft keys, all somewhat customizable
* decent overall customization options (see below for details)
* lightweight but not cheap feeling
* detachable USB cable
Cons:
* no tilt or rotation sensitivity like available on some more expensive big name tablets
* slightly limited customization options
* drivers on the cd didn't work for me, but the instructions pointed me to new drivers on Huion's website
* the instructions are not always perfectly clear
Notes on Drivers:
I had a fairly easy time installing the drivers. I use an iMac running osx 10.8 (mountain lion). I followed the provided instructions and was successful, but it wasn't as straightforward as it could be. I tried the drivers supplied on the cd first. They installed just fine, but the tablet wasn't recognized. After uninstalling the drivers, I got the updated version from Huion's website, installed the new drivers, restarted the computer, plugged in the tablet and was ready to go. Easy.
Notes on Customization Options:
The instructions do a good job of guiding you through the customization options. The instructions are also available for download on Huion's website if you would like to look at them before purchasing. I won't go into great detail as the instructions do a decent job of explaining your options, but I will note a few key features and limitations. I love that you can do so many different things with the 8 buttons (express keys in their terminology) and 16 soft keys (the instructions say hot cells). Mapping these to my most used keyboard shortcuts lets me do most of my work without the need for either a mouse or keyboard. The options for resizing the active space are basically unlimited but it takes some fiddling. One issue with the customization options is in the limit to the pen button mapping. There are two buttons on the pen that you can customize, but the only options are to have them perform a left click, right click, double left click or double right click. I would much prefer to have more options. Using them to zoom in and out is one option that comes to mind that could be useful. The instructions also show options for adding more than 16 soft keys and something they call hot edges but I don't actually have (or can't figure out how to access) that option; that's fine but misleading. By far the worst, most lacking thing is not having a way to map a middle mouse button click to any button. Without that option I can't scroll. The instructions have a section on how to scroll. It says to use the first pen button while hovering over the tablet, but it isn't working for me. I found a small program for Mac that allows for expanded mouse function options including mapping a keyboard key combination to grab anywhere on the screen. This enables me to scroll, but it is a strange, klugey workaround to an issue that shouldn't exist.
Overall, after a somewhat frustrating setup process, I am in love. I've only been using a tablet for a very short time but already I'm finding that I can accomplish photo editing tasks faster and with more precision than with either the apple trackpad I was using before or with a mouse which I have also used in the past. Even, better is that there are now editing options available to me that wouldn't be possible without this tool. I have wanted a graphics tablet for years, but couldn't justify the cost of the big name tablets and wasn't willing to use a terrible low cost alternative. I was told recently that the low cost alternatives are no longer terrible and so I took the plunge. Not only is this Huion H610 not terrible, it is magnificent. Huzzah!
Top reviews from other countries
So that's exactly what happened with me, it arrived well packaged, looking really good and stable, I had read it looked a little bit "wibbly-wobbly" with loose pieces and stuff, but mine was completely fine and quality looking.
The pen is heavier that the ones from Wacom tablets, and it has batteries, so it has to be turned ON and OFF. The switch is in the back of the pen and sometimes you have to press a few times to turn it on, but besides that, in works perfect. The pressure and velocity are fine, the shortcut buttons are perfect for programs like Paint Tool SAI but need to be changed if you use Photoshop, but it's easy to reprogram them. I only wish it could tell the pen angle, but it's not a necessary feature and only a few Photoshop brushes use it.
The software didn't cause much trouble, the first time didn't seem to work, but Windows itself re-installed it with with the appropriate configuration and there has been no more problem.
It also has a detachable USB cable, so it seems like it won't have to be changed when the cable gets old (which happened with my old Wacom).
Overall, it's a great tablet with an unbelievable price, it seems durable and it's really big and comfortable to work with.
TL;DR: Brilliant tablet; I recommend the Huion variant though.
Works like a dream with Photoshop and Manga Studio. The battery fed pen is a nice usable weight and has posed no RSI symptoms etc.
Great product.
