Trump wins TWELVE STATES to Nikki Haley's ONE in Super Tuesday steamrolling: Ex-President

Donald Trump surged closer to a rematch with Joe Biden in November as he trounced Nikki Haley, his final rival for the Republican nomination, on Super Tuesday, winning twelve states to her one. The former president, 77, dominated the biggest day of the primary season and left the ex-South Carolina governor's White House dreams hanging by a thread. ‘They call it Super Tuesday for a reason - this is a big win. And they tell me, the pundit, there has never been anything so conclusive. This is an amazing night,’ Trump told his supporters in a speech at Mar-a-Lago. In a sign of where the contest is headed, Trump focused his attacks on Biden. ‘Our poll numbers are higher than Joe Biden's. He is the worst president in the history of our country. There is never been anything like what is happening to our country,' Trump said.

Female colleague at centre of Christian Horner sexting scandal 'has until TODAY to file an

The female colleague at the centre of the Christian Horner (left) sexting scandal reportedly has until today to appeal the Red Bull F1 boss being cleared of controlling behaviour. Horner's career and marriage to Spice Girl Geri Halliwell (right) are under threat after the woman, who MailOnline is not naming, complained that he sent her 'sexually suggestive' messages. The woman has hired lawyers while she decides what to do, The Times reported. Although Red Bull's board told its workers that it was 'business as usual' and the board backed him, insiders told the newspaper either Horner or his accuser would probably leave. Despite the explosive claims, the female employee has apparently stayed at work at Red Bull's HQ in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Whitehall sources told the Mail the Chancellor will press ahead with a second consecutive 2p cut in personal tax today, leaving the average worker £900 a year better off.

Goldsmith, who entered the Celebrity Big Brother house as a contestant last night, previously described his royal niece as 'beautiful' and branded the racism claims against her as 'bull****'. Kate will be away from official royal engagements until after Easter after major surgery in January, with Kensington Palace insisting last week that she was still 'doing well'. What we want from this year's Budget: From inheritance tax, childcare costs and the

Britons have revealed their concerns over inheritance tax, childcare costs, electric car costs and the housing market as Jeremy Hunt prepares to reveal his Budget. The Chancellor is thought to have decided on a 2p cut to national insurance rather than the more expensive option of the same level of reduction in income tax. Mr Hunt is in addition expected to unveil a new tax on vapes, an increase in tobacco duties and scale back or even scrap the UK's 'non-dom' tax rules. He could also extend the windfall tax on North Sea oil and gas producers' profits and abolish tax perks for landlords who rent out their properties to tourists. As he aims to set dividing lines with Labour ahead of the general election later this year, MailOnline has spoken to more than 20 households about their finances.

ALEX BRUMMER: This Spring Budget has been the most leaked and briefed of all time. The boldest measure - likely to be a further cut in National Insurance - looks nailed on.

Everything expected to be in Jeremy Hunt's Budget: Chancellor poised to make fresh cut to

Jeremy Hunt is making final preparations for his crucial pre-election Budget today as hopes mount that he could push through big tax cuts. The Chancellor had an audience with the King at Buckingham Palace this morning after finalising the package after months of wrangling. There are signs that Mr Hunt will be able to unveil a move on personal taxes, regarded by many as essential for the Tories to have a chance of clawing back Labour 's massive poll advantage. Although most speculation has focused on a possible further 2p cut to national insurance, some Conservatives remain optimistic that Mr Hunt will go further and target income tax. While significantly more expensive, that is regarded as more likely to cut through with voters - and a counter to the burden reaching a new post-war high.

Why we all share the blame for Britain's 'zombie' high streets: ROBERT HARDMAN visits once-thriving Waterlooville, which went viral after it turned into a depressing ghost town. But he finds a glimmer of hope on its empty streets...

The Covid-era 'Keep Your Distance' stickers are still glued to the walkway but that is the only reminder of what once stood beyond these brick walls and sealed-up doorways: the holy grail of retail gentrification - a big fat Waitrose. However, in 2020, post-lockdown, the doors closed, the hoardings went up and the building has stood empty for two years. Waitrose owns the lease until 2026. It's just cheaper to keep it closed than run it at a loss. At the other end of the mall - and of the retail spectrum - there also used to be a Wilko. Except that shut last year. It has, at least, been taken over by a One Beyond discount store. In the colonnade which runs between these two big retail units, half a dozen smaller shops are clinging on, helped in no small part by the county council's decision to offer free spots in the adjacent car park. This is the scene on one side of the high street of the once-bustling Hampshire town of Waterlooville.

Trump says his Super Tuesday rout is the most 'conclusive' in Mar-a-Lago victory speech where he ignores Nikki Haley again and tears into Biden for his 'secret migrant flights' and going to the beach as he prepares for 2024 showdown

Former President Donald Trump said November 5 would be the most important day in American history as he promised Tuesday evening to rebuild America after what he said was three years of decline under President Joe Biden. He addressed hundreds of excited supporters at his Mar-a-Lago headquarters after clinching big Super Tuesday wins  in Maine , Oklahoma , Virginia , North Carolina , Texas, Tennessee , Minnesota and Massachusetts. 'They tell me ... that there's never been one like this has never been anything so conclusive,' he said beneath the gilded ceiling of the Grand Ballroom.
