Ex Nickelodeon star Kyle Sullivan claims abuser Brian Peck had a self-portrait from Chicago serial killer John Wayne Gacy who murdered 33 teenage boys and men and went on to develop pen-pal friendship with the psycho

Actor Kyle Sullivan from Nickelodeon's 'All That' has claimed disgraced dialogue coach Brian Peck was friends with serial killer John Wayne Gacy and even owned his signed self portrait.

The claims about the sex offender have come from the shocking documentary 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV', which looked at the abuse allegations within Nickelodeon.

The first two episodes of the documentary series aired on Sunday and saw Sullivan talking about what he found out when he went to Peck's house for a barbecue in 2002.

Sullivan said: 'I remember, at the time, I think it was about two-and-a-half years in, everyone went to Brian's house for a barbecue.

'And his house was a little off.'

According to the actor, who was 14 at the time, Peck's house was full of vintage toys, comic books and a 'Planet Of The Apes shrine'. Peck was in his 40s.

As unusual as the house already was for Sullivan, it was what he noticed next that was truly haunting.

He said: 'I noticed a painting in the room that stuck out to me because it had nothing to do with 'Planet of the Apes.

'It was of a birthday clown holding balloons.'

He went on to say when he asked Peck about the painting, the dialogue coach got 'very excited' to share it's origins.

'He flipped the thing around,' Sullivan said, 'and on the back, it said 'To Brian, I hope you enjoy the painting. Best wishes, your friend, John Wayne Gacy.'

Gacy is one of the most prolific and infamous serial killers of all time, raping and murdering 33 young boys and men in Cook County in the 1970s.

He was known as the 'Killer Clown' because he would often dress up like one.

Peck is said to have also shown the painting off to parents of the young Nickelodeon stars, telling them he and Gacy were pen pals.

All of the letter from his serial killer 'friend' he kept by his bed.

Sullivan certainly wasn't the only actor coming out with allegations about Peck in the documentary.

Actor Drake Bell from 'The Amanda Show' has slammed Nickelodeon for giving him 'no institutional support' after he reported the 'brutal' abuse he suffered at the hands of dialogue coach Brian Peck, branding the network as a 'factory' that treated its 'expendable' actors like 'garbage.'

The former child star, now 37, recently laid bare the 'unspeakable' and 'extensive' sexual abuse that he endured at the hands of Nickelodeon coach Brian, now 63, when he was just 15 years old.

The Quiet On Set documentary has also levied several allegations against creator Dan Schneider and it has left the television industry shaken.

When it comes to Peck's alleged friendship with Gacy and the fact he is said to have been pen pals, Peck presumably must have meant that they used to be, as the house visit Sullivan speaks about happened roughly eight years after Gacy was executed.

It is also unclear if Peck was friends with Gacy only when he was in prison, or if he was in fact friends with him when he was an active serial killer.

Gacy was sentenced in 1980 when Peck was only around 20, two years before his career in the entertainment industry started.

Peck was convicted in 2004 for sex offences and sentenced to 16 months in prison.

After his release, he was hired to work on Disney's teen show The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody, but when Disney heard about his conviction he was sacked.

Parts three and four of 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,' will air on ID and stream on Max Monday.
