Katharine McPhee celebrated her milestone 40th birthday in style aboard a posh yacht with family and friends on Monday, March 25.
And on Wednesday, the singer took to her Instagram to give her 936,000 followers a glimpse at the luxurious celebration.
The birthday girl included a photo of herself soaking up the sun a tiny blue bikini that showed off her gym-honed figure.
The American Idol alum posed with one foot up on a seat cushion in her striking two-piece while wearing a large straw hat over her long brown locks.
In another shot, McPhee blew a kiss in the direction of a male friend who was seated directly beside her on the boat.

The post also featured no less than four videos of her celebration, including one where she gave fans a look at the amenities of the vessel, which began through a hallway toward a room full of chairs, tables and a sofa.
A big 'Happy Birthday' sign could be seen hanging up high near the ceiling that also had an assortment of balloons floating around.
Eventually, McPhee moved the camera to the right to show the lovely buffet full of food and drinks set up for all the VIP guests.
In another photo, the former Waitress star struck a pose near the yacht's pool with the vast ocean as the backdrop to the scenery.
She had on a mesh cover-up over her skimpy swimsuit which she styled with her straw hat and sandals.
In one of the four videos her husband David Foster could be seen mingling amongst their circle of friends.
'Pina colada baby... with booze,' the acclaimed musician, 74, announces as the camera zeroed in on him.
'I love this new David Foster,' a woman, who was likely McPhee herself, shouted with joy.
This inspired the entire group to offer up a 'cheers' in honor of Foster, who looked laid back in shorts, a T-shirt, and a baseball cap with sunglasses.
That's quite the departure for the man who almost always looks elegant and classy in a suit and dress shoes.

While McPhee has carved out a career as a singer-songwriter, she also has a burgeoning career as an actor, and she put some of her comedic skills on display in a hilarious skit that she shared with fans on Wednesday.
'I just turned 29,' she says while looking straight towards the camera. 'Recently,' a blonde friend shoots back.
'Last year,' the Waitress star said. 'So you're 29, a man smoking a cigar chimes in, for which she reiterates,' last year.'
A different woman then jumps into the conversation: 'And how old are you like right now?' she asks, which again McPhee quickly responds, 'One more year older.'
Another unnamed person got into the action and asked, 'So 30?' eliciting a brief pause by McPhee who ends it skit by agreeing with a simple, 'Yeah.'

Three ladies are also seen striking a pose while standing in between large rock formations.
McPhee eventually joined all her friends and family for a group photo.
McPhee and Foster, who have been married since June 2019, are the proud parents of their four-year-old son Rennie.
'I would love to have another baby, but we'll see,' McPhee, said during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson show in January 2023, as reported by People.
