Jordi Alba was wished a happy birthday by teammate Sergio Busquets and Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham on Thursday, as the left-back turned 35.

Busquets, who was a longtime teammate of Alba's at Barcelona, posted a picture to his Instagram story of the defender including the words, 'many more together' in Spanish.

Alba was also made to look as if he was holding a birthday cake in the picture.

Beckham, meanwhile, wrote, 'Happy Birthday My Friend,' and shared a photo of the two having a drink.

Alba was also celebrated by his teammates at Inter Miami training, as they lined up on either side and playfully slapped him as he entered the field.

He could also be seen sharing a hug with midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi.

Alba is the youngest of Miami's 'Big Four,' as Lionel Messi is 36, Luis Suarez is 37 and Busquets will be 36 in July.

Miami will face the New York Red Bulls this weekend, though without Messi, who is dealing with a 'minor' hamstring injury.

Messi would have been playing for Argentina in a pair of friendlies anyway, but the national team announced this week that their star man would be unavailable for selection.

Miami's No. 10 sustained the injury playing for Inter Miami during their CONCACAF Champions Cup clash against Nashville.

The Herons are top of MLS' Eastern Conference after five games with 10 points and a +8 goal difference.
