Tiger Woods has come face to face with ex-wife Elin Nordegren as the divorced couple attended their son Charlie's high school state golf championship ceremony. Woods and Nordegren were both in attendance to celebrate Charlie, 15, winning a high school state golf championship in Palm Beach, Florida.  While Woods has, for years, insisted that they co-parent well together, he was seen standing awkwardly aside as Nordegren posed for a picture with Charlie and her son with ex-NFL player Jordan Cameron.

Baseball's biggest names have been tasked with winning UK fans over to their sport this summer and they already have a fitting blueprint for success, as devoted converts to the Premier League. The third running of Major League Baseball's London Series will see the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies arrive at West Ham for two games in early June.  These two old rivals are charged with growing the sport in Europe and selling out a 60,000-seat stadium - something none of their 30 clubs get close to back home but which was achieved in east London in both 2019 by the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, and last summer when the Chicago Cubs and St Louis Cardinals finally completed a series delayed three years by the pandemic.

One of Belgium's most prestigious road cycling races was marred by a serious crash that left Olympic favourite Wout van Aert with broken collarbone and fractured ribs.  Van Aert suffered several fractures after being brought down along with several riders some 65 kilometres from the finish of the Dwars door Vlaanderen one-day race on Wednesday. The leader of the Visma-Lease a Bike team crashed in Belgium just ahead of the climb of Berg ten Houte along with Biniam Girmay of Intermarche-Wanty and Mads Pedersen and Jasper Stuyven of Lidl-Trek. 

A former Premier League referee has opened up on his battle with Parkinson's disease. The retired official enjoyed a distinguished officiating career from 1997 to 2016, which included 15 years in the top flight. He took charge of several memorable games, including FA and League Cup finals, while also overseeing clashes that involved the likes of Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho and Sir Alex Ferguson.

Paige Spiranac has torn into Chris DiMarco on social media after the former Masters runner-up complained about playing for a $2million prizefund on the Champions Tour. DiMarco, a three-time PGA Tour winner, even went as far as pleading for Saudi-backed LIV Golf to buy the Champions Tour and pump up the money on the tour designed for players aged 50 and over. The 55-year-old told the Subpar Podcast: 'We're kind of hoping that LIV buys the Champions Tour.

The Football Association has moved to clarify a bizarre controversy surrounding Jude Bellingham after doctored footage of his interaction with a mascot on Tuesday night went viral online. Bellingham starred again for the Three Lions as his side drew 2-2 at Wembley against Belgium, scoring a late equaliser with what was the last kick of the game in England's final match of the international break. The Real Madrid star stole the show ahead of kick-off, when he gave his jacket to a mascot in a wheelchair, who had accompanied him on the pitch and looked to be feeling the wrath of the rainy conditions.

Draymond Green has been ejected in the first quarter of the Golden State Warriors game against Orlando Magic. Green had been arguing with officials, first for being called for a personal foul and then when Stephen Curry was called for a shooting foul.  It comes a day after Green appeared to grab Miami Heat guard Patty Mills by the neck and drag him down - and three months after he returned from an indefinite ban for hitting Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns in the face. 

Louis Rees-Zammit was given a warm welcome from Kansas City Chiefs fans on Tuesday night after news broke that the former Wales rugby player was set to join the Super Bowl winners. The 23-year-old Welshman quit rugby in January to pursue a career in the NFL and is now set to sign with the Super Bowl winners after impressing scouts as part of the International Player Pathway (IPP). Chiefs fans quickly took to researching their impending new addition and were thrilled with what they found. One fan even suggested Rees-Zammit's rugby background will mean Travis Kelce throws more laterals.

A controversial ending to the Philadelphia 76ers-Los Angeles Clippers game led to some unsavory scenes with Sixers coach Nick Nurse and guard Kelly Oubre Jr.  In the dying seconds of the game, Oubre drove to the basket and drew heavy contact from Kawhi Leonard - but a foul wasn't called because the ball 'wedgied' itself (got caught between the backboard and the rim) and officials called a jump ball. Nurse was seen screaming at the officials about a lack of a foul before calling a timeout. Out of that timeout, referees had a jump ball at mid-court that the Sixers won on the tip.

Following a loss in March Madness to end their season, the Iowa State women's basketball team received some words of encouragement from a famous alum. In a very close contest on Monday night, the seven-seed Cyclones of Iowa State played a game against two-seed Stanford to overtime. There, Iowa State fell 87-81 to the Cardinal - getting outscored 21-15 in overtime.

The latest international break might be over, but the narratives and debates surrounding various national teams are only likely to grow in the run-up to Euro 2024. With the conclusion of Tuesday's play-off finals, the 24 teams who will be competing in Germany this summer have finally been confirmed. The likes of France, England, Germany and Portugal are among the bookies' favourites to win the tournament, which gets underway when the hosts take on Scotland in Munich on June 14.

Travis Kelce has joked about his current physique after photos of the Chiefs star rocking a 'Dad bod' on holiday with Taylor Swift surfaced last week. Kelce and Swift, who have been dating publicly for the past six months, jetted to the Bahamas for a romantic getaway this month after the pop megastar wrapped up her latest round of Eras Tour concerts in Singapore. Photographers caught the pair lapping up the sunshine at the beach on Thursday, with the Kansas City Chiefs star's relaxed physique in the NFL offseason drawing attention on social media.

Jason Kelce insists there is no chance he will return to the NFL next season, after new Philadelphia Eagles recruit Saquon Barkley tried to coax him out of retirement. Appearing on the Kelce brothers' New Heights podcast, Barkley talked up his switch from the New York Giants to Philly, before Jason insisted that Jalen Hurts and the rest of the team are going to be 'rejuvenated' for another run at the Super Bowl. After claiming it will be an 'outstanding environment' in the building next year, Kelce made the mistake of claiming it will be 'so fun to watch' - leading to Barkley jumping in to claim: 'You don't got to watch it, you know...'

Brendan Paul, a recently-arrested alleged associate of rapper and producer Sean 'Diddy' Combs, was previously a walk-on college basketball player at Syracuse University. Paul, aged 25, was detained by Miami-Dade Police at Opa-Locka Airport in Miami at around 4:30pm on Monday. The same day, federal agents raided Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex-trafficking investigation. Soon, the internet found about Paul - who played two years on the Syracuse Orange men's basketball team.

Harry Styles and James Corden threw a party to celebrate Declan Rice claiming his 50th cap during England's 2-2 stalemate with Belgium on Tuesday evening. The Arsenal midfielder was also rewarded with the captain's armband for the friendly tie at Wembley, in a gesture that Rice described as leaving him 'speechless'. When Gareth Southgate let him know that he would be leading the side out against Domenico Tedesco's side, Rice said that he 'stood up, shook his hand, gave him a hug and said "thank you so much".'
