This beautiful snowy scene was captured from Millcreek, Utah, shortly before nightfall on February 22, 2023. Conspicuous just above the tree line at center is the attention-getting conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter. Normally cloudy weather spoils astronomical sightings, but in this case the broken clouds and the snow-covered landscape added to the visual appeal of the scene. Note that Venus is below the Moon and Jupiter but hidden here by the trees.
