Florida detectives have given an unsettling update on the Miami mom who was seen being abducted in broad daylight before being found dead in her burnt out car. Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas, 31, of Homestead, was abducted at a busy intersection just before 6 pm on April 11. It was revealed that Aguasvivas made a call to her husband and tld him that someone was following her and had rammed her. The husband told her to not stop but neither of them called 911, according to officers. Detectives with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office later found the remains of a body believed to Aguasvivas in a badly charred car hours later and they are continuing to search for suspects. Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma said in a news conference on Monday that an Orange County deputy was arrested for secretly recording and disclosing information about the case to the Aguasvivas family.

NEW Boeing whistleblower Sam Salehpour told NBC News' Tom Costello in a shocking interview that Boeing's controversial 787 jets should be grounded on account of 'fatal flaws' that could cause the aircraft to fall apart mid air. The interview, which aired Tuesday night, comes just a day before Salehpour heads to Congress to testify about his concerns surrounding Boeing's safety practices, in particular cracks caused by fatigue as a result of planes flying thousands of hours. Salehpour said that through coming forward in the media and in front of Congress, he was going to save people's lives. Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun has also been summoned but it remains unclear if he will attend.

Over 1,000 migrants gathered outside NYC City Hall on Tuesday ahead of a City Council oversight hearing focused on the experience of black arrivals. Only 250 people were allowed inside the 10am hearing, but hundreds more flocked to the park across the street. Videos circulating on social media show the crowd chanting and cheering. Some people were allegedly encouraged to attend under the false pretense they would receive green cards and work visas, and were led to City Hall by an activist group.

Police received a call about a possible home invasion around 4.45am to a $5million home in a gated community off Newport Coast Drive and Pelican Hill Road on Tuesday. The homeowner shot one of the two suspects. The other suspect was found dead in nearby bushes with a 'self-inflicted' gunshot wound while his accomplice was taken to the hospital. Police believe that the suspects and family knew each other but it is unclear how.

A humanoid robot described as the most advanced in the world will be showcased in Scotland. The National Robotarium, the UK's centre for robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) based at Heriot-Watt University in partnership with The University of Edinburgh, has purchased the robot, named Ameca, from Engineered Arts. An Arizona woman has been indicted by a grand jury in Maricopa County on fraud and extortion charges involving former Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer and another man, although the exact allegations remain unclear at this time. That woman, Darcy Adanna Esemonu, was indicted last month on allegations that she 'knowingly did obtain a benefit from Marco Bresciant and Trevor Anthony Bauer, by means of fraudulent pretenses, representation, promises, or material omissions,' according to the indictment provided to DailyMail.com. Esemonu faces up to 16 years in prison if convicted on all charges. Esemonu does not have a criminal attorney listed in this case. DailyMail.com reached out to another attorney who represents Esemonu in her ongoing sexual assault lawsuit against Bauer in Arizona, but has not yet received a response.
