PROFESSIONAL RECORDING, MIXING AND MASTERING

History

Sonic Sanctuary is the newest studio from Hughes Digital and represents the latest in digital audio technology.

Hughes Digital was started by John Hughes in 1996 after deciding to leave The Recording Workshop where he taught the different skills needed to become a recording engineer. The move was back to Dayton to start a family and business. Lacking a recording space in the beginning, services were limited to digital mixing, mastering and editing. Video tutorial creation became a new service when the studio moved to a larger space with room to record music as well as voice overs.

NEUMANN M149 TUBE MULTI-PATTERN CONDENSER MICROPHONE

Our Flagship Microphone for Vocals and everything else that might come to mind.

STATE OF THE ART TUBE MICROPHONE
The M 149 Tube is a modern version of Neumann’s famous M 49 microphone. Like its predecessor, it uses the classic K47/49 large diaphragm capsule in an acoustically open headgrille. The M 149 is a universal studio microphone with 9 selectable polar patterns. Its innovative transformerless tube circuit ensures optimal sound with lowest self-noise.
